Highlighted and color-treated hair can easily become dry and damaged. Most color-specific products temporarily mask the problem, the haircare equivalent of slapping a band-aid on a gaping wound. Kérastase’s Bain Chroma Riche shampoo is different: the formula actually repairs texture to give you softer, healthier, and shinier hair. Not only will your tresses look more beautiful, but they’ll also smell amazing—a nice perk.
I have found Keratase products have poor results on my hair. But i was willing to try one more time , except when you send foil packets its just not enough to sample with. For the future i hope to not receive any more Keratase products. DISLIKE1
This did nothing for my hair. It made it feel dry and brittle and I simply didn't like it. I feel like I would have liked it better had the sample been larger. Perhaps my hair would have gotten better coverage.1
This shampoo smells great, has a rich emollient feel, and does soften hair. My hair may just be to damaged for this to rescue it. If you only have moderate damage I would say this would do the trick. I am now interested in trying a deep conditioner from this line.1
I hate shampoos that have Sodium Chloride in them. It totally dries my hair out and causes split ends. I didn't like this shampoo at all.1
I have professionally color-treated hair, so I thought that Kerastase would be perfect. Instead, it made my hair dry, completely unmanageable and it felt like a big tangled ball in the shower. I won't be trying it again.1
I did not like this. The smell was really bad and my hair felt dry and stringy after I used it.1
I expect many things from a shampoo specifically for color treated hair. I expect a nice scent, moisturizing product, and most of all, a formula that helps the color stay. This stuff had a nice scent and that is it. It left my hair dry, and, to add insult to injury, IT STRIPPED MY COLOR. I have pink hair and use a different product with no problems. The only time I ever see pink is the first two days after coloring. This shampoo stripped the pink right out of my hair. Even my stylist was shocked. I do not recommend it AT ALL.1
It smelled great but did not work well on my hair. I think it was a combination of my fine hair and the FL humidity that made my hair feel very greasy1
I like the Kerastase brand and have had it recommended to me before, which is why I was surprised there wasn't any "wow" factor with this shampoo. Of course, I can't judge its long term effect on my color treated hair. Nonetheless, I didn't like how it wasn't "sudsy' and it left my hair feeling like straw.1
I've only tried one sample from the brand in the past, as I've never gotten myself to give-in and buy from this spendy label.
I was excited to try the shampoo and conditioner samples I received, as I know many people are fans of the brand. That feeling was soon dashed, unfortunately. I don't mind some sulfates for my highlighted and toner-ed hair, as I know that, as long as they're not left in for long, they really don't hurt color much (everyone should google for where/why that was made up). I do mind silicones (which cause little bumps on my face/around my hairline), but I gave the shampoo/conditioners a try, as I can use a little of them. Whatever is in this product duo left my hair an odd combo of dry and limp, and there was some grainy something that was left behind that lasted until I used a clarifying shampoo - not good!
