Highlighted and color-treated hair can easily become dry and damaged. Most color-specific products temporarily mask the problem, the haircare equivalent of slapping a band-aid on a gaping wound. Kérastase’s Bain Chroma Riche shampoo is different: the formula actually repairs texture to give you softer, healthier, and shinier hair. Not only will your tresses look more beautiful, but they’ll also smell amazing—a nice perk.
This shampoo is pretty much an average shampoo. I actually prefer my much cheaper shampoo that I use on a regular basis. I would skip this and splurge on the conditioner. That is an awesome product!1
This shampoo did nothing special to my hair. Won't buy as it is too expensive.1
Hard to tell about the color protection / repair from just a sample. But it seemed to require a lot more than others to get a good lather and my hair felt dry rather than conditioned afterwards.1
I actually disliked this product a lot. It made my fine hair tangly and not soft at all. yuck!1
I have fine, slightly wavy, color treated hair and this product made my hair almost impossible to style and very dry.1
While the ingredients aren't listed on the Birchbox website, this shampoo contains sulfates. Due to an allergy, I am unable to use this product.1
If I did not use Keratin products I would use this rich product.1
I wanted to like this product. I didn't. I have very thick hair and could not get a lather from this shampoo, no matter how much I used. I felt like it just sat on my scalp. My husband said he liked it.1
This product left my hair feeling stiff and stringy. I didn't like it at all. I was my hair every three days and it usually has a good texture to it but when I used this, all I wanted to do was get right back in and use my old shampoo and conditioner and start all over.1
I was hoping to like it and it definitely felt like "salon quality." Unfortunately I have very fine hair so it just weighed it down. I also never quite felt I could rinse it out of my hair 100%.1
