Highlighted and color-treated hair can easily become dry and damaged. Most color-specific products temporarily mask the problem, the haircare equivalent of slapping a band-aid on a gaping wound. Kérastase’s Bain Chroma Riche shampoo is different: the formula actually repairs texture to give you softer, healthier, and shinier hair. Not only will your tresses look more beautiful, but they’ll also smell amazing—a nice perk.
This shampoo did leave my hair soft, but did not anymore than multiple other products that I have used.3
Smells great, but I have dandruff and it really didn't help me with that.3
I was excited to try a Kerastase product, as they are highly regarded in many beauty outlets (magazines, blogs, etc...). A shampoo is a hard item to write rave reviews about, however, because most are pretty similar. One or two washes with a shampoo is not going to transform your hair. Instead, when I try new shampoos, I try to focus on how well I feel it is cleaning my hair, how much is required for a good wash, how it rinses out and how it smells. This shampoo in my opinion scored very high in each of these areas. The product was a clear gel like consistency, which made lathering quite easy. A quarter sized amount was all I needed to thoroughly clean my hair. It lathered well and rinsed out very easily. Many shampoos cling to the hair making it difficult to rinse out all of the product - that was not the case with this shampoo. The smell was faint but pleasant. I will definitely consider purchasing a full sized bottle of the shampoo. The only main drawback is the price, which is the main reason I did not give it five stars. But overall great product!4
I am a huge fan of Kerestase products, and this shampoo lives up to the Kerestase name. I particularly like the scent -- beautiful and clean.4
I really couldn't tell that this shampoo benefited my hair in a way that would make me spend the money for it. However, I have a hard time differentiating between shampoos. It's the conditioner that I'm very quick to judge. It does smell nice though.3
I liked the sample, but would never spend $38 on the full size. I honestly didn't find this to be of any higher quality than drug store shampoo.3
This wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be. Other shampoos give a better result for less of a cost.3
This shampoo did not lather well, nor did it moisturize my hair. I ended up with extremely frizzy hair after using this.1
This was a good shampoo and smelled nice but I don't notice anything different from any other salon shampoo I've tried.3
I was surprised, when I opened my sample packet, to find that the texture of this shampoo was clear and smooth, almost like an anti-frizz serum. My hair was shiny and soft after I used the shampoo.4
