Clipping or filing your nails in public is generally a no-no in our book, but with a tool this cute, we might just let it slide. Toss this mini-file in your bag to keep nails smooth and snag-free, no matter where your day takes you. Even if that means filing your nails on the subway.
I tried these files and did not like them, they did not seem to be gritty enough and it kind of seemed like they were just running over my nails instead of filing them.1
What can you say about nail files other than I wish I didn't get them in my box.
They're nail files, they're compact. If you use nail files a lot you'd probably like it because it'll fit in a purse. Or just pull one tiny file out of the package and it'd fit in a wallet.
I had high hopes for this little gem - it's such cute packaging but sadly didn't work well. I wish i would have included it in a little gift bag and not opened it. The files just didn't - file. The buffer was a nice bonus on this little package, but in terms of actually filing and shaping nails, I would not purchase this product. They only started working when I really put some muscle into it, which caused them to start breaking apart. I had to go through 2 files to shape 2 nails. I don't think it would be worth buying..even though the size and package is great.1
The small purse size box is cute and I love the design on the emery boards.1
I really liked the idea of these small files, as I travel a lot and don't like to schlepp my regular size nail file around. Also, the design is cute and the sample size was generous.
I also really like Tweezermann tweezers and will never use any other tweezer to plug my eyebrows. So what could be better than a nail file by this great company? Well, I think they either have to improve the file (a lot) or stick with tweezers because the files did not do anything to file my nails.
Did not break or bend. Decent. Just not something I would like to see again as a sample1
Emory boards are a dime a dozen and all just as effective. What a silly sample to include, that is more of a "giveaway" to promote their tweezers, which is an excellent product. But to use that as a sample in Birchbox, what a disappointment.1
The packaging of these nail files are cute and I have purchased them before but they ruin my nails. I have thin brittle nails and these files seem to make them crack at the edges.1
While the packaging is cute and the concept is good, I never use nail files because they end up making my nails peel when the tips are shredded against the emery board. I might keep one of these files in my purse for the rare snag, but overall this product is not something I'll use. Seems like a solid nail file though.1
I don't do my own nails, so this was useless to me. For someone who actually does their nails, these would have been nice.1
