Benefit's brand new cheek & lip tint is three shades of gorgeous. This creamy stick features lovely coral, watermelon, and champagne pigments that blend together for a sheer wash of color. The swipe-on stick is supereasy to apply—great for times when you’re on the go. We got the first look on this multitasking wonder—see the blush in action in our exclusive video with Benefit's Maggie Ford Danielson in their Soho boutique.
Benefit's Fine One One is cute and pretty - and it's a neat concept, but honestly, the positives really end there. The coral, watermelon and highlighter colors slide on easily, and blend well, but anyone using foundation makeup for actual coverage may have trouble, as blending tends to rub off the foundation underneath. Also, this is not an all day color - I'd say it sticks around for about 4 hours. Still, it's a great product to throw in your bag for one-stop cheek color. I see this product being best in the summertime as post-beach color - just throw it in the bag and go.
I have to say, the 'benefit' stops at the cheek bone - this product is NOT for lips. Application to the lips looks dry and cakey - and the color (a mix of all three) comes to a frosty looking mod pink. Not for me!
I'll stick to liking this product as a Saturday morning easy swipe of color. All said, I won't go through this quickly, but once I do, I'll probably buy it again!
I was hoping to really love this product. It goes on nice and colors are pretty but it doesnt last very long and takes some of my foundation off. Overall it's okay but I'm glad I used my birchbox points so I paid only 10 vs 30.3
This product would be beautiful for those who have lighter skin tones. I have medium olive toned skin and when I put the product on, it seems nicely pigmented, but as soon as I blend it, it might as well not be there. Also, the staying power is very minimal (4 hrs max). If you want a very light blush application, this would be for you.3
I've used this for a few weeks now, but I feel the product is to light for me. I've found that I have to use quite alot of product to show some color and I am fair skinned. I would not buy this product again.3
I keep this in my purse for a quick and easy perk me up on the go. The colors are beautiful and it blends easily.4
I love this thing! The color isn't super sheer but it isn't super pigmented either. It distributes the perfect amount of color for day or night. I took a star off because the color on my lips faded within an hour. However, as a new mom, I'm always looking for ways to stay cute in the littlest amount of time possible and this is it!4
I'm just learning how to put on makeup, and I didn't want to start off with putting on powder blush. This is a good way for me to learn how to start putting on makeup, with the colours definitely sticking out on my light skin. The only problem I have, as others have mentioned, is that it doesn't go on evenly so it dents.4
This blush leaves the prettiest color on your cheeks. I need three swipes to leave a color, one and two swipes does not leave much color on my cheeks. I do not like this on my lips, it leaves my lips too pale.4
This makes for easy blush and highlighter all in one. I just sweep it across and up, then blend. Looks natural with a nice light highlight above cheekbones. I also like using brushes to use the pinks on my lips and the highlighter on other areas of my face. The very small downside of this is that when you use the colors separately, it is not always as even when you just use it as a 3 way sweep across the cheek area.4
love the colors. all 3 are very pretty and pigmented. however, after using it for a week or so, because you swipe it across your cheek/cheekbone, it dents. so i end up getting a lot of the middle color but barely the highlighter and the peach color. so i just use a brush or put it on with my fingers and blend it with my beauty blender.4
