Take a peek in any makeup artist's kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult Lait-Crème Concentre. This velvety, quick-absorbing moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and all-over body lotion. Who says beauty isn't practical?
It says it's for everything from moisturizing to makeup primer. I feel like it's more for nothing.. it felt more like drying out my face than moisturizing it. Wouldn't even put this product on my feet.2
I didn't really like the texture or the way this absorbed. It was greasy and didn't absorb well. I think this would make me break out if used regularly on my skin2
I had never heard of this company or product so when I opened it I read all the information provided. Nowhere on the insert or the box gave instructions for use. Irritated, I had to go to Birchbox.com to find out what it was for and how it should be used. I did not care for it because it is greasy, kind of sticky, and I do not like how it feels on my skin. I will pass on this one.2
The scent is much too heavy for me and the texture was so greasy -- and then in looking at the product list I knew why. It's too oily and cloying for me. I'm glad I got to try it out as a sample -- I don't think I'll be ordering this product.2
I gave this a shot as a moisturizer/primer and I don't suppose it did a poor job, but it certainly didn't dazzle me anymore than my usual primer. I find it hard to believe it could function so magically as all of the other listed purposes, but maybe I'm missing something. Overall, not worth a second glance for me.2
I am prone to breakouts. I read the reviews after I tried the product and was worried I would get breakouts. But did not. It moisturizers well but I wouldn't buy it.2
Giving this a poor rating because I do not want skin care products from Birchbox2
This moisturizer was way too oily for my taste. It did help moisturize the dry areas, but it left the rest of my skin feeling greasy.2
I did not like the smell or feel of this product! I will not be purchasing this product now or in the future!2
I didn't find this product to be particularly moisturizing, and on top of that, my forehead broke out after using it. I also tried using this as a makeup primer, as it claims it can be used under makeup, and didn't notice a difference. If anything, my makeup looked greasier. I won't be purchasing this.2
