Take a peek in any makeup artists kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult Lait-Crème Concentre. Since we're just as picky as the pros, you'd better believe were fans too. This velvety, quick-absorbing moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and all-over body lotion. Who says beauty isn't practical?
I didn't like this as a lotion at all, I used it as a make up remover. I think it left my skin feeling sticky.1
I did not care for this. It was very greasy and made my skin look oily. Definitely will not use the rest in the tube.1
How can one product be both a face wash and a leave on moisturizer? It's like the oxymoron of beauty products. I wasn't thrilled with this product starting with the name. Embryolisse? Is it supposed to give me the face of an embryo? I actually read the ingredients wondering if this was like some kind of weird product made from animal tissue (like those hair masks made out of sheep placenta). And if that sounds gross to you, well....now you know why this didn't appeal to me.
Upon reading the ingredients..."Paraffinum Liquidium". Sounds like a Harry Potter spell. What it really is? Mineral Oil. Which last time I checked is cheap and pore-clogging.
I tried some on the back of my hand and yes, it was noticeably smoother. But I'm not going to put this on my face. I'm just going to give this product away.
I love trying out new lotions, always on the hunt for that perfect one. I am very sensitive to smells so little to no scent is great, and I have both random dry patches everywhere and good old Excema on my hands. Good lotion is a must. However, a good working lotion that makes you feel as though you are coated with Vaseline is awful. I used the smallest amount possible to test for reactions and I went through the rest of the day feeling so greasy I imagined I could treat a sidewalk like a slip 'n slide. I suppose that this is how the lotion treats your dry patches by creating a protective layer between you and the world but it just felt awful.1
I rarely have negative reactions to new face products but this broke me out pretty badly after only two uses.1
Why the mineral oil? So not good for your skin. I would definitely not put foundation on top of mineral oil. It's a breakout waiting to happen. It's also high up on the ingredient list meaning it's mostly mineral oil. :(1
I tried this product without looking at the ingredients first which I normally don't do but I was excited. Looked at the ingredients and saw "mineral oil." I will not use anything with this ingredient in it at all. It's terrible for your skin and extremely cheap considering the price of the actual product is $28...1
I had high hopes for this., but it failed miserably. I applied before work, and by the time I got home 9 hours later, I couldn't wait to wash my face.1
this product had a lot of claims and it hardly delivered, i first tried this as a night time moisturizer and i wasn't really impressed. then i tried it as an under-eye cream and didn't notice any difference. lastly, i tried it as a makeup remover and i saw results. it did do a pretty good job at removing makeup and eye makeup but there was always a residue of left over makeup. also, it stung my eyes pretty bad when i used it to remove makeup from my eyes. not impressed and not worth the price tag1
I was excited to try this cream. I did not like it at all. Probably my least favorite sample from Birchbox. It left my skin feeling greasy. I can't stand the greasy feel.1
