Take a peek in any makeup artist's kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult Lait-Crème Concentre. Since we're just as picky as the pros, you'd better believe we're fans too. This velvety, quick-absorbing moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and all-over body lotion. Who says beauty isn't practical?
The packaging was misleading. Not really a miracle. It was just an ok make up remover. Nothing that I would get to excited about. I would be disappointed if I got this in my box again.3
... It's nothing special. Not really the miracle it claims to be at all4
Like the idea of the product but i think its too heavy for my skin4
Loved this. Doesn't feel greasy and skin feels baby soft after using.5
Nice moisturizer, small sample. Definitely did not like this one more than my philosophy for a similar price point3
Great product! Love everything about it! Great product! Love everything about it!5
I was very excited for this product because I have such dry skin, but I was very disappointed. it didn't rub into my skin very well and was very hard to spread around. it felt heavy on my face.4
I was very hesitant to try this on my face since it contains mineral oil, but I decided to brave it and give it a go.
On my face, it was just ok as a moisturizer/primer. I used it instead of my normal moisturizer and used Benefit's Porefessional on my T-zone, then applied my makeup as usual.
It made my face a little more oily than normal, but not bad. I did use blotting paper about halfway through the day, which I normally don't do. I might have been able to do without it, but I would have been pretty shiny.
Unfortunately, the next day I had some uneven texture on my cheeks like a break out was on the way.
As a precaution, I decided it was never going on my face again.
So, next I tried it as a shave cream on my legs. It worked pretty well and left my legs moisturized.
Overall, I'd use it as a shave cream or to remove stubborn waterproof eye makeup, but I won't bother purchasing it in full size.
I wouldn't classify my skin as sensitive per se, as long as I use the origins products and it cosmetics cc cream that its used to, but when i switch up my routine, my skin inevitably breaks out. so, the mineral oil in this product, cult status or not, scared me away from using it on my face. however, it's the dead of winter and i'm always in need of hand creams, so this worked out well for me.4
enjoying wearing this, is gentle and doesn't smell bad. haven't noticed anything miracle about it but have only used it a few times, looking forward to seeing if it helps a lot with dry spots.5
