Take a peek in any makeup artist's kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult Lait-Crème Concentre. This velvety, quick-absorbing moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and all-over body lotion. Who says beauty isn't practical?
I was surprised after using this product. It did not make my face greasy or cause a break out. I used it at night and woke up with smooth skin5
I don't know why the other reviews say it's greasy. I guess I used it during the night and as a night cream, I expect it to be thicker and heavier. It is pretty light and thin. I feel like I need something more moisturizing as a night cream. Also I must have SPF in my day creams so I can't use it during the day. OK product.4
I have really dry skin on my face, always have. My birchbox profile shows that I have issues with dry skin, so they always send me samples of lotions and moisturizers. This one works okay. It's not my favorite, and it's not the first one I reach for, but when my other samples run out I can always use it. I usually put something on my dry skin at night, before I go to sleep, and I notice the difference when I wake up. However, this stuff just doesn't help as much as some of the other samples I've received. I'm sure that if I only had mildly dry skin, it would do the job just fine.4
I was a little worried about this product because a lot of the reviewers said it left their skin oily. I had a very different experience. This was so soft on my skin a gave my skin the perfect amount of moisture. This even helped fill a few small lines on my face! This product is the perfect moisturizer and primer and helps my makeup last all day. I'm sold!5
I love the texture and the ease of application of this product. I also quite liked the feeling on my skin after the immediate use of this product. However, my skin is on the mature dry side and after about an hour my skin started to feel dry and I needed to reapply a moisturizer. For this reason, I would personally not buy this product, I could however imagine that it works quite well on less dry and younger skin.3
I'll stick with what I currently use. Great product just not for me.3
I didn't think it was as greasy when I first put it on. Then about a half hour later, I had to wash my face since it was so oily feeling. It worked great as hand cream!3
It's definitely great at hydrating dryness, in spots or all over your face. I don't know how well it works as a primer, though. It would be good for days when you don't want/need SPF.4
This felt way too greasy for me. Didn't moisturize as much as lubricate my face with oil.2
It may just be my skin type, and may work awesome for others but not for me! I have fairly normal skin that dehydrates sometimes so I was excited for this product for those days. My pores are quite big and I have a terrible time keeping them clear and cleaned out. This product did feel very moisturizing but a little on the heavy side and greasy so I was only able to use it at night otherwise my makeup would get oily throughout the day. After a couple uses I noticed my blackheads and crud in my nose and chin area were built up much more then normal. For the price it's not worth it at all for me.2
