Take a peek in any makeup artist's kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult Lait-Crème Concentre. This velvety, quick-absorbing moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and all-over body lotion. Who says beauty isn't practical?
Sometimes I use this product as a primer/moisturizer before I apply my foundation. The first thing I noticed about this product was its smell. It has a fresh, light scent, which is pretty nice to smell while applying. The first time I used it, I used a little too much, so it left my skin feeling oily. A little bit of this product goes a long way... you only need a small amount! It didn't really affect the way my foundation went on, but it did moisturize my skin, so it's not bad.3
After reading the reviews already on here, I was a little apprehensive to even try this sample. I have sensitive skin that can never decide if it should be oily or dry so it is a constant battle at finding products that are just right. I have not tried this on my face yet, but loved it for my hands, arms and it had a nice simple, clean scent. I would use it as an eye makeup remover for leftover makeup. Worked great on dry skin.5
This product has quite a fragrance but it does go away quickly. It feels good, a little heavy, but good and I really want to like it. I've tried it 3 times and every time I do I end up with an allergic reaction. Maybe if it is available in a sensitive version I'd give it another try.3
I used this moisturizer as a makeup primer, mixed with my cheapy primer from Ulta, unfortunately it has an odor of sunscreen. I didn't feel like it added a lot of moisture to my skin. Too expensive since I have other products I prefer.3
This is a great moisturizer. It was a bit greasy but very hydrating.4
I was highly disappointed with this product. I had high hopes for it, but it ended up being way too greasy for me.2
This product is marketed as being great beneath makeup, but I enjoyed using it before bed so much more. First, it doesn't have SPF, which is a must for me during the day. Second, it is made with amazing ingredients that take a bit of time to settle into the skin. It reminded me a bit of L'Occitane's shea butter hand cream. It's amazing and effective, but you definitely feel it on your skin immediately after application. Using it as a light night cream worked well for me; I woke up with silky soft skin.5
Just tried recently and it is one of the best, I love how hydrated my skin feels, I use day and night5
I didn't really like this face cream. It's on the thicker side and doesn't absorb very quickly. It even makes my face shiney (not in a fresh, dewy glow way either). It feels more like a sunscreen you'd use on your body. I would not purchase this product.3
I thought the product was interesting, wish the sampler size was bigger.4
