Take a peek in any makeup artists kit and youll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult Lait-Crème Concentre. Since we're just as picky as the pros, you'd better believe were fans too. This velvety, quick-absorbing moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and all-over body lotion. Who says beauty isn't practical?
Says its a miracle worker for dry skin, I have severely dry skin and it did not do anything for me except sit on top of my skin.3
Smells great. Smooth face cream that doesn't break out my skin4
Seriously. This is my go-to moisturizer. Not heavily-perfumed or thick and gloppy ... just a highly-effective, no-nonsense, non-frilly workhorse. I love it.5
I actually use this on my hands a lot, I find it rich and creamy but not greasy, it smells fresh. I used it on my toddler who had a small dry patch of skin, it cleared it up!5
A bit too greasy feeling for me, I prefer a lighter moisturizer.2
I ended up using this as just a make up remover for my eyes. Its ok but there are prodcuts more efficent for it3
This leaves my skin feeling moisturized and smooth. The mix of shae butter and aloe does wonders for my skin! I have always used shea butter so this was a familiar product for me. I am definitely using this product again!3
I'm a routine person, stuck in my routine ways...until...there was Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré. I have very oily skin, which I tame into submission everyday using a battery of products made and marketed towards 14 year olds at the height of their pubescent flarings. That being said, my oily skin becomes a barren desert ready to face the day in all of its matte perfection. Little known fact--well not really, dermatologists know the truth---the more oil you try to keep at bay by over dying, the more your skin over compensates to fill the proverbial void. Result? Flaky skin. Matte skin, yes...flaky nonetheless. Enter Lait-Crème Concentrè, or miracle primer, moisturizer, matte-ly balanced skin cream wonderland! Beautiful results, and my skin looks like an 11 year old's...if that's a good thing? It is. Love it, love it, love it ten times. Thank you Birchbox, again and again.5
This is not a light weight moisturizer, it is an intense creme suitable for dry skin or winter weather. I like this about it and it's great over my retinoid cream in the evening. The sample size was way too small to be useful though.5
It was like every other moisturizer, it was okay but I'm not I'm love with it. So wouldn't buy buy it.3
