Ever since the era of the boombox, we’ve been looking for ways to enjoy tunes on the go. This pocket-sized 21st-century equivalent plugs into any music player for quality sound whenever and wherever you need it. Runners, cyclists, and other active types will love the innovative magnet feature that easily attaches to clothes or equipment.
Struggling to figure out when I'd use this product versus a Bluetooth portable speaker, headphones and docking station (maybe at the golf course attached to the cart) --- the magnet feature is nice and the sound isn't bad so maybe it will grow on me. Also nice that it charges via USB and doesn't require batteries. Overall I think in the $15-$20 price point it can provide value.3
It comes in a nice black color with no instructions on the box. What would make it great as a speaker would be if there was an app that would let you turn your phone or ipod into a microphone.3
The product works good, however i find the situations in which i use it to be limited. This could be because i have a good substitute in head phones or you cant really use this product at the gym. But this product is awesome to use while running or on a bike or in any other situation where you should have some hearing of your surroundings.3
I only got to use it once before it stopped working. Originally I thought the battery just went out but, after full charge it still did not work. Would not recommend.1
It's not really a hifi product, and I don't know of any hifi competition, so it's hard to complain. The sound quality is louder and slightly better than just my phone's speaker, and for $25, it's hard to complain. If you're a runner and you want to listen to music without headphones, this is a great option.3
Speaker is cute and compact. However, the sound quality is mediocre at best. I get better sound quality from the internal speaker of my phone. Sorry, but this is part of the first birchbox i've been disappointed with.1
I was surprised to find the iSpeeker in my BirchBox for January. I hadn't seen the product before, but quickly began playing music from my iPhone on the speaker. The magnet is really strong and will hold the device to your clothing, even if you are wearing a thick jacket or sweater.
The sound was louder than my iPhone was able to produce while not being too distorted. I only wish that the device was wireless and used Bluetooth instead of an audio mini jack, but it probably wouldn't be $25 if it used BT.
I'm not sure how often I will use the speaker, but it definitely isn't getting thrown in the junk drawer.
This is a fantastic little portable speaker. I love the magnet clip and the feel of the rubber coating. This will be great for going on walks and bike rides! This would be a great gift for my friends.5
I was very excited to see this product in the box and test it out. But after I have charged it and checked the audio cable (which is working fine) there is still no sound. Am I the only one?3
