We used to think of lip treatments as a means to a single end: hydration. Nowadays, we expect more—especially when we have genius multitaskers like pūr~lisse’s pūr~lip comfort. This petroleum-free lip conditioner not only moisturizes with an anti-aging formula, but also creates a smooth canvas for lip color. The result is soft, youthful lips that look great with or without pigment.
I received this in a different box but after reading all the terrible reviews I had to leave my more positive experience. All the women saying they prefer a balm, this is not a balm that is going to leave a gross residue after it absorbs. It's a lip nourisher, so it absorbs and leaves your lips completely moisturized. I have some seriously chapped lips because I have a bad habit of chewing on my bottom lip. This has healed my lip in a matter of days. But just like the others said, yes, I do eventually have to reapply... Is that odd? I found the moisture lasted hours. Much longer than any balm I've ever tried.
So if you want a balm that leaves a residue go buy Chapstick... If you want to spend $16 on a lip nourisher, I completely recommend this one! It even has a beautiful shine to it for those extremely popular lip stains!
I've gone through a tube of this. It has a thin/ watery consistency, so it is not a good idea to wear to bed if you breathe through your mouth. I know it sounds silly, but your lips will be dry by morning! However, it's nourishing enough to wear after exfoliating your lips to give you soft pretty lips. I find that it does work well for priming lips for lipstick and such, but it isn't a miracle worker or anything. I don't think I would repurchase given the price. I feel that the product does not provide a huge difference in comparison to any other cheaper alternative.
3This product does provide some moisture but it is very thin. In fact it's so runny it ends up inside my mouth and I don't prefer the taste. As other reviewers mentioned, the hydration does not last long either. I received this as a sample in a different box. I would not purchase it.
