This eyelid primer is the Thelma to your eye shadow’s Louise. The velvety formula guarantees that colorful shadows stay bright and smudge-free for hours. Suitable for all skin types and tones, the sheer formula blends in seamlessly and doesn’t leave any kind of residue on your lids.
I wanted to love this so much, however, I found it a bit greasy and didn't hold certain eyeshadows well. The silky texture that it has makes you think it will help glide the color on your lid, but sadly no - not for me at least. Patchy results = a no go for me. I guess I'll be sticking with UDPP.2
It was decent, but not as good as some other eyelid primers. Felt very greasy going on, and the lasting power of my eyeshadow wasn't as long as other primers I have used.2
This eyelid primer was nice- the texture is smooth and it's very light, easy to blend. However, I did not think it prolonged my eyeshadow very well. After a couple of hours, I noticed that my eyeshadow was losing it's luster.2
Not the best primer I've tried. Tends to dry a bit flaky for me.2
Overall, I really was not impressed with this product. But then again, I do not really have an issue with my eye shadow lasting through the day. In my experience, if you go with a higher quality eye shadow, it will stay on without buying another product. For instance, I use Smashbox and never have an issue with it lasting through the day. I always see it on the towel when I wash my face at night.2
The texture was not that great and I honestly didn't notice any difference in the length of time my eye shadow stayed on. Makes me want to try other primers to compare.2
Not a fan. It was greasy and I thought my eyeshadow smeared more easily and faded sooner than without even using a primer.2
Eyeshadow primer is a must for me because I have oily skin. I loved the lightweight, smooth texture of this product. It went on my eyelids seamlessly. However, it made it more difficult to put my eyeshadow on and I was not impressed with the appearance of eyeshadow (compared to other primers). I think I will pass on this product. Thanks anyway.2
I have always used eyelid primer - I chalk it up to oily eyelids. I have tried several different products over the years so was excited to see this in my box. I have to say I didn't love it. I currently use Stay Don't Stray by benefit and won't be switching. The biggest deal breaker for me is that this product doesn't have any sort of tint or color correction to it. I prefer primer that has some tint to it in order to even out my eyelids. TheBalm product also felt a little greasy to me during application.2
its kind of slick, it has a nice sheen to it but its far too oily for me.
decent sized sample though...but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with so much of it.
