This eyelid primer is the Thelma to your eye shadow’s Louise. The velvety formula guarantees that colorful shadows stay bright and smudge-free for hours. Suitable for all skin types and tones, the sheer formula blends in seamlessly and doesn’t leave any kind of residue on your lids.
This eyelid primer is very good. I have used Urban Decay's eye primer in the past and find this one just as good. My eye makeup stayed put all day.4
I have really oily skin , so make up always slides, no matter what. But with this stuff, it lasted an 8 hour school day without budging and I had to work hard to get rid of it at the end of the day. Overall, a successful primer.4
I don't typically wear eye shadow on a daily basis but this product did a good job when going out and wearing slightly heavier eye makeup, held it on all night and came off easily with a makeup remover wipe.4
A nice primer , in The Balm's usual adorable packaging. This sample will go far. The texture is nice, and drew a bit dewy...perfect for an eyelid primer !4
I really liked this product. It also brightens/enhances your eye make-up so you do not need to use as much make-up to get your desired affect.4
Goes on clear when it looks like it would have a tint. Does a pretty good job of keeping the shadow on all day and not clumping eyeliner and makeup at the crease of the lid.3
Things I like: allows eye shadow to stick for longer wear and enhances color. Things I dislike: no color or shimmer, strange waterproof feeling.3
I thought this eyelid primer felt soft and velvety smooth but I just don't feel like an eyelid primer is necessary. I really don't have problems with the shadows I use staying "bright and smudge-free for hours" so I don't think this product would be something that I would purchase.3
It works fairly well, but there are a few other eyelid primers I prefer. The price is fair. I doubt I'll buy this one again, but I don't regret buying the tube.3
I tried this product when getting it on discount and its ok. It doesn't last as long as my urban decay primer potion, but it'll do in a pinch.3
