This eyelid primer is the Thelma to your eye shadow’s Louise. The velvety formula guarantees that colorful shadows stay bright and smudge-free for hours. Suitable for all skin types and tones, the sheer formula blends in seamlessly and doesn’t leave any kind of residue on your lids.
I got puffy spots on my eyelids, but I have sensitive skin. Seemed to work but clearly not for me.3
leaves my eye lid a little wet and thus make my eye shadow a different color. But sometimes thats cool.3
I did think the product worked well and I'm a big fan of eye shadow primers. My only complaint is that it was pretty oily. Good thing i covered it up with eye shadow.3
Loved the packaging but the product didn't do much for me. I've tried a lot of eye shadow primer and this one was a little too thin for me.3
I would definitely buy and use this product often! It goes on nice and smooth and my eyeshadow stayed on all day!3
I felt that this was a decent primer. I've received others through Birchbox that I felt "sealed" my eye makeup a lot better. However, I felt this was more moisturizing to my eye area than others.3
I have an oily complexion and this definitely helps to keep my shadow on longer however I was hoping to get a longer wear out of it. For me it was great for 6-8 hrs.3
While it definitely helped keep shine away for MOST of the day, I found that by 3/4 p.m. (after applying at about 7:30 a.m.), all the shine-absorbing power had gone & my eyeliner started leaving marks behind.
I also had trouble applying it because it takes FORever to soak in, even when you use a small amount.
I am truly sad to have to say goodbye to this primer, because it did a wonderful job: my eyeshadow was easily blendable and stayed put for hours. The problem is this formula inevitably traveled from my lids to the surface of my contacts--making a film that was impossible to get rid of without a full cleaning of my contacts (and makeup remover).
If you don't wear contacts, I highly recommend this primer, but if you do, then I would suggest sampling it first.
I was actually very excited to receive this sample in my Feb box! But, I wasn't as thrilled as I thought I'd be. It left a weird film on my eye lids that I haven't experienced with any other eye primers that I've tried. I still have it in my makeup bag though....maybe I'll give it another try.3
