This eyelid primer is the Thelma to your eye shadow’s Louise. The velvety formula guarantees that colorful shadows stay bright and smudge-free for hours. Suitable for all skin types and tones, the sheer formula blends in seamlessly and doesn’t leave any kind of residue on your lids.
I'm not a huge believer in eyeshadow primer, I just don't typically think it makes much of a difference. I only use one on special occasions, and even then it's a "better-safe-than-sorry" situation. This was no different. I didn't really notice the shadow staying on longer than usual, and it didn't have any sort of tint to it. I suppose I'll try it a few more times, but it doesn't seem to be anything to write home about.3
At first I loved this product. But then my eye shadow started to clump on my lids after the 3rd or 4th application. I think it left a residue in my brushes3
I got this to use with my eyeliner due to smudging and oily eyelids. It takes some playing around to get it right but I like it so far and my eyeshadow is really bright and applies easily when I use it.3
But nothing special. Doesn't blend that well in my opinion, looks kind of chalky. I didn't notice that my shadow lasted longer but my eye make up usually stays on pretty well even without a primer. I prefer Urban Decay's eyelid primer.3
I have one of those skin types that NEEDS an eye primer if I wear eye shadow since I tend to get a case of the eye lid oilies. I tried theBalm primer and did not like how greasy it feels. Before I put my eyeshadow on I have to wait before the product dries up a bit. When I'm in a hurry I don't have time to wait for that. I don't think I'll be buying this product..3
If you like to wear eyeshadow this product should be an must have for you. It feels nice on the eyelid.3
This product felt greasy to me as a put it on. It worked fairly well, but the feel of it is enough to make me not want to purchase it. I will stick with my paint pots.3
I like the sheer texture of this product, and after I got it on, it did a good job as a primer (I am a dedicated primer user, I usually use Urban Decay). However! I have sensitive skin, and when I first applied the product it burned on my eyelids. For that reason... not for me.3
This product was fine. I don't usually use a primer, as I don't have trouble with my eye shadow staying put or creasing. It was a little unnecessary for me.3
It's too creamy for my liking. I wish it was more matte.3
