This eyelid primer is the Thelma to your eye shadow’s Louise. The velvety formula guarantees that colorful shadows stay bright and smudge-free for hours. Suitable for all skin types and tones, the sheer formula blends in seamlessly and doesn’t leave any kind of residue on your lids.
I thought this was going to be sticky, and make my eyeshadow feel cakey - but it was VERY light and smooth! I'm considering buying this for sure!3
I can't attest to how well this makes eyeshadow stay on the lids because I have never noticed having a problem with that WITHOUT this product. I will say, however, that I noticed I did not have to use as much shadow to get the look I wanted.3
It's a good idea in theory, but it was just a bit too heavy and moisturizing for me. My shadow still creased and I still needed my blotting sheets mid day.3
This product worked great and my makeup stayed on but it worked so well it was pretty tough to get the eye shadow off at the end of the night.3
I've used Put a Lid On It for a few weeks now and I expect more from an eyelid primer. The texture feels greasy and creases even with the lightest application. Eye shadow does stays put for the majority of the day with PALOI, which is the critical point of an eyelid primer, and for that, I gave it 3 stars.
Overall, it doesn't compete with my current eyelid primer, so I will not be switching.
applies evenly, keep my eye shadow on all work day, might have to redo for going out at night. smells nice, good texture, not sticky!3
This product really helps keep eye makeup in place. When you put it on it is a bit oily however. I do not like how thin it is. It is also hard to get my eye makeup off after using this. It definitely does what it is supposed to do!3
This product is a great primer before makeup on your eyelids. It isn't sticky and smells great. Sample size is fairly large.3
This product worked well but I may have been slightly allergic to it because it felt tingly when I applied it. It went away and didn't have any lasting effects (i.e. redness or itching), but not sure I want to try again! It accomplished it's goal of keeping my eye make up on though.3
I'm not a huge believer in eyeshadow primer, I just don't typically think it makes much of a difference. I only use one on special occasions, and even then it's a "better-safe-than-sorry" situation. This was no different. I didn't really notice the shadow staying on longer than usual, and it didn't have any sort of tint to it. I suppose I'll try it a few more times, but it doesn't seem to be anything to write home about.3
