This eyelid primer is the Thelma to your eye shadow’s Louise. The velvety formula guarantees that colorful shadows stay bright and smudge-free for hours. Suitable for all skin types and tones, the sheer formula blends in seamlessly and doesn’t leave any kind of residue on your lids.
It has an okay texture, but it was more like a lotion than the primers I've used in the past. It did an okay job holding my eyeshadow in place, but I have used better products.3
I used this product under a couple colors of powder shadow and I really didnt see that much of a difference than just using a face primer all over. It be better used under cream shadows. Overall, I would say that it is ok but not really necessary unless you wear a lot of heavy shadow.3
Although the product seemed to work well, I don't know if it's worth the money or extra step during makeup application for everyday use. I might use it for a special occasion but not on a day to day basis.3
It felt really wet when I first put it on and I was worried that it would need time to dry. I didn't expect it to feel that way but once it dried I felt like it really made a difference and lasted all day.3
his product burns my eyelids some. I also don't like that it is a white color. I would rather it be a tinted shade. The product does keep all eye products on the lid throughout the day.3
The packaging was super nice, the product did crease my eyeshadow a little.3
I received this as a sample in my January Birchbox. A little definitely goes a long ways, and I like that in my beauty products. It has a very creamy consistency, and dries fairly quickly. The jury is still out as to whether or not I'll purchase, but I like that this comes in a squeeze tube rather than a lip gloss type container with the fuzzy applicator.3
I didn't hate this product, but found that it didn't really live up to my ideal eyelid primer - it went on very smoothly, but I don't think it actually helped any shadows stay put longer or prevented creasing. I think the $2 elf eyelid primer found at the drugstore does a better job.3
I thought that the primer worked as it should. I used it in the morning and remained crease free all day. My only issue with the product is that it is not very forgiving. I normally blend a few different shadows together to get the right look to my lids. I found that once color was applied on the primer I was unable to smudge very well.3
I recently purchased a different brand of eyelid primer, and this one is much more oily than the other one. My eyeshadow brush became sticky after using this.3
