This eyelid primer is the Thelma to your eye shadow’s Louise. The velvety formula guarantees that colorful shadows stay bright and smudge-free for hours. Suitable for all skin types and tones, the sheer formula blends in seamlessly and doesn’t leave any kind of residue on your lids.
Awesome product! Keeps the shadow on all day!! Not going to buy it because I don't need it right now.5
I am usually a strictly urban decay eyeshadow primer user, but this product was so great, I'd consider switching!5
My eyelids tend to be oily and this is a great product. It goes on a little greasy and you do have to wait for it to dry before applying eyeshadow, but it makes eye shadow pop. It helped my eye shadow stay on all day-- even though my workout!5
I really liked this product. It's light and it doesn't leave a residue on my eyelid later on in the day. Easy to put on and blends well4
I have been using Urban Decay primer for quite some time, and I always have problems with it getting on my eyelashes or settling into the crease in my eyelid after a few hours, and it is also quite heavy for a primer. TheBalm's Put a Lid On It is different. At first, I will admit I was skeptical because it seemed a little too smooth when I applied it to my eyelid, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised how well it works. It does not crease, and it is very light. You also don't have to deal with the mess that you might get from using other primers.4
What a great product! My eyeshadow appeared darker so I didn't have to put as much on as I usually do. The color didn't budge all day.4
Makes my eyelid slightly greasy. I does work for priming the eye lid though4
This stuff is great! I love the matte look it gives you lid and I've been wearing it sans eyeshadow with liquid eyeliner. Definitely helps prevent creasing when you wear shadow though. I like this product much more than my previous eyeshadow balm from MAC.5
I do not and have not used an eye primer in the past. I am not convinced it is a necessary product in my routine.4
I'm not a big user or primers. I usually wear light shimmery eyeshadow that doesn't really show creases. However, I did enjoy how the primer seemed to smooth my eyelids, making them feel silky, and I can see that if I were to go for a heavy, dramatic eye, how this product would be very useful!3
