This eyelid primer is the Thelma to your eye shadow’s Louise. The velvety formula guarantees that colorful shadows stay bright and smudge-free for hours. Suitable for all skin types and tones, the sheer formula blends in seamlessly and doesn’t leave any kind of residue on your lids.
I love The Balm products, but I usually don't use an eyeshadow primer. I really think that a good eyeshadow should last without it.3
This product is AMAZING! I have EXTREMELY oily skin and I could never find an eye primer that would work well enough leave me creaseless at the end of the day. Until now, with this primer I can go all day and work out and my eye makeup is STILL perfect!!! I cant believe it. I will buy this product for a lifetime! Thank you The Balm. You are The Balm!!5
I'm glad I got to try this product before buying it. I think it's okay but I have other primers I like more. I do really like the Balm brand eyeshadows and blushes3
not a bad product at all - I tried the sample a few times and my eye shadow has seemed to stay on better. It's not that expensive, so I will probably purchase the product and test it out more.4
A little definitely goes a long way. Keeps my eye makeup from smudging all day. Looks just as fresh in the afternoon as when I applied it!5
I had fun using my sample for theBalm Put a Lid On It but I think this would have to go to my "not very useful" list. Why? Because I don't think it is needed. Maybe for the heavy makeup users, but for me, this is really just not needed in my daily makeup routine.4
I loved this product! It made my eyeshadow go on so much smoother!5
After applying the product, it stayed oily/moist to long. Had to wait awhile to apply eyeshadow. No changes were noted when I tried the product.1
I would not waste my money on this product. Overall the product is light and easy to apply but I cannot see any benefit of its use. I'm pretty sure it was gone within seconds after application. Also, I would opt for a primer that has a little highlighter.2
I don't think this is a revolutionary product. It works pretty much as well as Urban Decay primer potion (or, to be honest, cheapie ELF primer!)2
