This eyelid primer is the Thelma to your eye shadow’s Louise. The velvety formula guarantees that colorful shadows stay bright and smudge-free for hours. Suitable for all skin types and tones, the sheer formula blends in seamlessly and doesn’t leave any kind of residue on your lids.
I used the product prior to putting on my eye-shadow. The product made my eye shadow stay on longer and gave it a richer look.4
I currently use another product by another company to complete this task, but I did like TheBalm's Put a Lid on it. I really like all their products.4
I have tried many a primer over the years. For me, this is the first product to deliver what it promises.5
I really love this primer, it glides on smooth but not greasy. Hours into the workday I checked to see if my eye makeup had stayed put, and it did! Love this product!4
But nothing special. Doesn't blend that well in my opinion, looks kind of chalky. I didn't notice that my shadow lasted longer but my eye make up usually stays on pretty well even without a primer. I prefer Urban Decay's eyelid primer.3
Great product!! Awesome to wear alone to provide an oil free lid as well!5
This product is amazing. I struggle to find a good eye primer. However, this product works in two ways; 1. I am able to use it if I decide to go natural and it works well as a primer. It helps eyeshadow stay put.4
I loved this product ! I am not usually an eyeshadow user but I had a special event and used this primer before doing my eye make up. it went on smooth and kept the color looking great the entire night. I recommend this product. I am wearing eyeshadow more thanks to put a lid on it :)5
For a sensitive skin person, facial products are always a hit or miss... I have to say this hits on all levels for me! It is light, non-greasy, non-irritating but still has the oomph to hold for hours and get me through the work day!4
I have one of those skin types that NEEDS an eye primer if I wear eye shadow since I tend to get a case of the eye lid oilies. I tried theBalm primer and did not like how greasy it feels. Before I put my eyeshadow on I have to wait before the product dries up a bit. When I'm in a hurry I don't have time to wait for that. I don't think I'll be buying this product..3
