To temporarily satisfy our wanderlust and keep our wallets happy, we turn to these transformative scented candles. From fruity to clean and crisp to woodsy, each offers an escape of its very own, no packing required. (We like to think of the hand-pressed seal as our very own passport stamp.)
I should start by saying I am not a candle guy. This candle smelled very masculine, but was too strong for anything I would use on the occasional basis. The sample was also very small.2
The scent wasn't bad, in fact I rather enjoyed it. But I was a little turned off because the sample burned a spot on the top of my bookshelf where I had it. While that was probably my fault for not putting a plate or something under it (I did put the lid under it), it just turned me off from buying the product.2
not sure about you guys out there, but my husband and brothers are not a fan of candles2
At the time of this writing that I received one small travel size candle.
Pros:convenient size and to perhaps take to a hotel.
The wik of the candle is precut and does not require trimming
Clean burning does not put off any black smoke
Cons: I cannot speak for any of the other candles but I wish it would've been a bit more pronounced and could have been made stronger.
Received this as a sample, and I'm assuming the burn time will only be about an hour. Sample size is VERY small. Smells great though.2
Isn't the candle market over saturated? I don't find the scent useful and the sample is so small it lasts for 2 hours or so. I like my share of candles but stick with full size with seasonal scents to make my place more cozy and inviting for guests not seduce them with something similar to axe body spray...2
Smells good when you smell it out of the box but there was no sent when we burned it so kind of useless2
Smells good, has a wick and overall meats the criteria for being a candle.2
Candle smells great, but not a candle guy. Find it a little odd that twice now the box has had candles, not very fitting to my needs at all.2
To be fair, if it doesn't smell like bacon, scotch or sawdust I'm probably not going to be interested in a candle. This is the second "travel" candle in a Birchbox, and I just have to ask...what guys are taking candles like this with on trips?2
