Little known fact: the towel you use to rid your hair of excess water can actually lead to frizz and flyaways. That’s why it’s always a good idea to follow each drying session with this all-natural leave-in conditioner. True to its moniker, the silky cream formula is a smart way to begin your styling regimen. It prevents frizz while adding shine, hydration, and manageability, all without weighing your hair down (no more Elvis-esque grease slicks).
I didn't love nor did I really hate it, thought it was just ok. I couldn't tell any difference and I really didn't want to buy the full size to see if it works.1
This also claims to be a detangler but it does no such thing. Not much conditioning seems to be happening either. It is a water based conditioner but it doesn't seem to contain much else other than water. My hair is still pretty course after spraying it in. It does not moisturize or make my hair silky like other leave-in spray conditioners I have used.2
This product has a nice clean scent to it, but as for the detangling it doesn't do so well. I have fine, curly/wavy hair and this made it frizz up and harden if my hair was mostly dry. Works best on wet hair, but still not the greatest product i've tried.3
The product works well as a detangler, and it light weight as advertised, but because of the scent, I only gave it three stars.3
I tend to like heat protectors that coat my hair with a thicker consistency, but I decided to give this water-based product a try because it is ingredient conscious. I was expecting it to be a little thicker consistency, but it sprays very evenly from the bottle because it is like water so I actually liked it. You do need to spray a few pumps if you have very long hair (I do anywhere from 5-7), but I still get the sense this bottle will last awhile.
I also liked that I could use it to freshen up my hair 1-2 days after washing. Plus it smells refreshing!
I received this in one of my boxes and couldn't be happier with it. Since using it, I've noticed a reduction in frizz. I use this between towel and blow drying, followed by a John Frieda Anti-Frizz product. Great combination!4
This leave-in conditioner smells clean and is great for a quick fresh feeling. I don't necessarily think it controls frizz for my hair (spiral curls), but it works great in both my daughter's straight hair.4
I love this product. My hair has gone through numerous dyes throughout the years which left my hair long, not so thick, bristly hair ruined. I could never find a detangler that helped my hair so much compared to this. I have had one bottle for almost 6 months. Best to use on wet hair, you dont need a lot, just make sure you coat all your hair at least one time. It leaves my hair soft shiney lightweight and i personally love the smell. I got this product at the natural grocers, looove it.5
I received a sample of this product through the bonus shop & have loved it! It's an awesome leave-in & unlike many leave-in treatments I've tried this one does not leave my hair greasy or stringy, even if I stretch my style over two days. My hair really does feel super hydrated & healthy. The biggest perk to me is that this product is made from natural ingredients. I shouldn't have to sacrifice effectiveness if I want to be ingredient conscious & with this product I don't have to! I look forward to trying out ELVOVh's shampoo & conditioner soon.5
I got my first sample of EVOLVh conditioner in a monthly box and fell in love with it. And my husband loves it for his beard and mustache as well. He likes it better than any of the men's products so I keep it in stock for him. I usually use the #4 Super Comb and Prep for leave in conditioner but decided to try the EVOLVh StartSmart Leave-In Conditioner to see how it compared and it might be something my husband would also like to utilize for his beard. Yet another product that will be a "lifer" for me,...uh...us!
