In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
This stuff had a very harsh chemical spray and left some residue in my hair, and at this price range their are plenty of other better products out their.1
I like Batiste better, especially for the price. This is now my "if I run out" dry shampoo but the smell alone is off-putting.3
I received this in a Birchbox awhile ago and I've since repurchased multiple times. It give great texture to my fine hair and smells awesome. I feel it does a better job than the Oribe Dry Texture Spray. Don't get me wrong, Oribe is awesome but for some va-va-voom I reach for this.5
This made my hair have a ton of build-up. It was also hard to brush out. No bueno for fine hair.1
This stuff is pretty awesome. It smells great and works likes dream getting the oiliness out of your hair. My hair is super thin and even when I wash it, from time to time it still has oil spots... This stuff worked well for me to spray and then proceed to straighten my hair (which a lot of dry shampoos don't work well with after spray styling).5
This does a great job absorbing excess oil, but was not right for my hair texture. Curly hair needs to maintain as much oil as possible, which is why we curly girls suffer from dry ends. This made my hair feel dry and sort of straw-like.2
I love this product. I only gave it 4 stars because it does cause my scalp to itch a bit but that happens with every dry shampoo I have used. This particular brand was effective and caused the least itching, my hair looked full and piecy, I like this product.4
This product did not work well for me but I will say that most dry shampoo's don't work well for my hair as it is very thick and becomes greasy quickly. Dry shampoo's tend to amplify the 'greasiness' when used.2
Birch box has sent me a variety of different types of dry shampoos, and this is my least favorite. It leaves my hair feeling a little tacky, and far from refreshed. My hair doesn't look any less dirty than it did before I used it. I do like it, however, as a texturizer for clean hair.2
It has nice smell to it, that's not too overpowering. However, if you're looking for an basic oil absorbing dry shampoo this probably isn't your best option. What this was great for though, was styling. It has almost a hairpsray type of quality too it, so it works great if you were going to do a style on dirty that required any teasting or volume - but if you wanted to just leave your hair soft - not so much.3
