In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
To me, this product was more of a hairspray than a dry shampoo. I felt like it left a sticky residue, and that's not what I'm going for when I use a dry shampoo product.1
Although this did not leave a white residue like some dry shampoos, it didn't do what it was meant to do at all: remove the oil from my hair. All it did was give my hair a heavier, greasier look that would not come out unless I washed it with shampoo. I would not recommend this. It does not work.1
I ordered the dry shampoo bc I received a sample of the dry conditioner in my birchbox and absolutely fell in LOVE with it. However, when I tried the dry shampoo it was terribly sticky and was not what I expected at all. It also left a nasty residue in my hair. I paid full price for it and had to throw it into the trash. Please dont purchase!1
This product didn't seem to do a whole lot. I like to use a dry shampoo on days when I don't wash my hair and this did nothing to add volume or hid greasyness. Plus I was not a fan of the smell.1
I'm so glad I was given a sample of this before I ever had the chance to contemplate buying it, because it was junk. I've tried about a dozen different dry shampoos and I don't think I paid more than $21 for any of them. So, being priced at $25 was a strike against this product before I even tried it. When I actually did use it "unimpressed" would be an understatement. I sprayed a section with about the same amount I have applied with other dry shampoos and I couldn't tell the difference. I had to spray A LOT for it to be effective and because of that, you could tell it was in my hair because my hair is dark brown. I ended up having to wash my hair. I gave it to my sister to try and she didn't like it either.
I would definitely recommend other dry shampoos, like Klorane's Gentle Dry Shampoo ($20), amika's Perk Up Dry Shampoo ($21), or even Bastiste's Dry Shampoo ($8), which comes in different shades.
I bought this because I say a tutorial and they used it. I have been searching for a dry shampoo for, well forever! This one is gross. Left my hair unmanageable, stiff, smells horrible... worst ever! :(1
I have yet to find a dry shampoo that actually works on my dark hair. This one was no exception. It made my hair dull, flat, and even greaser looking. I didn't love the scent either. Definitely not for me...onto the next one1
Maybe I just don't understand dry shampoo but I just couldn't get this to work. My hair felt so weird after using it, I would have preferred to just leave my hair dirty.1
I got this as a sample in my birchbox and was excited to try it, but I ended up throwing out the sample after a few tries! Whenever I used it, I ended up having to wash my hair anyway because it left such a thick, sticky residue on my hair that it looked flat and gross.1
I have fine hair and I was hoping this dry shampoo would help with minimizing the oiliness that appears all too soon. When used it made my hair look dirtier and more oily. I was very frustrated as I followed the instructions and experimented to find a way to make it work. There was no way to make it work. It was an absolute waste of $25.1
