In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
This stuff just doesn't seem to work on my hair, which is the type that gets oily after just one day. It just makes it even more difficult to work with, and much of the time I end up giving up and hopping in the shower after struggling to make my hair look clean with the dry shampoo.1
I really wanted to like this product because I actually really enjoyed the scent. However it seemed to make my hair look dirtier. I tried this product multiple times and played around with how much I sprayed on, the distance away from my head, and how long I let the product sit in my hair. No matter what I did I always ended up with the same result. It was difficult to run a brush through my hair, and did nothing to reduce the oil. There are plenty of other dry shampoos that work much better than this one1
If possible, this will actually make your hair look and feel worse than if you had just skipped the dry shampoo step altogether. No matter how much you comb, it stays in your hair and is actually sticky. And good luck trying to use any heat on your hair afterward. And the only way to get rid of it is to try and wash it out of your hair. Congrats Birchbox, you found a terrible product. I'm actually mad that I used it.1
I got up late for school one day and decided to try this out instead of having to shower to save time. Well, it was like I sprayed hairspray in my hair, and made me look like the bride of frankenstein. Once I let it sit, I had to comb it out, and once I did I was able to get it in a ponytail so I looked ok, but it took awhile to comb. I almost thought I was going to have to wash it anyway. I've used other dry shampoos and they were not like that, I will be throwing my sample away so I don't forget and use it again!1
This Dry Shampoo is not very effective, it only lasts a few hours or so. When you spray it on your hair your hair turns white as if you had white spray from a Halloween shop. You then need to brush it out and blow it out with a hair dryer, your hair feels so stiff, I was disappointed with this product and would not recommend it1
It left a film of sticky nastiness in my hair....my hair felt stiff and dirty. Could not wait to wash it out! It doesn't have a nice scent either.1
Was just the worst. Made my hair sticky, left a ton of residue. It's not just my hair either, I've had two friends who tried it and both wanted to wash their hair immediately after.1
I've never used a dry shampoo before and that might have to do with it but it didn't really work well with my curly hair. =/ I was excited to try one of these but maybe my sister's straight hair will make better use of it.1
I use the Garnier dry shampoo that you can find in most stores and it works great. I had high hopes for this particular product and was very disappointed after I used it. It leaves a very bad texture behind making it hard to run your fingers through your hair. I would not recommend this dry shampoo, especially for the price.1
If I could give this product zero stars, I would. It does not reduce the grease factor of your hair and provide lift. It should be labeled "will make your hair extremely heavy and a grease slick that looks stringy". Worst dry shampoo I've tried yet.1
