In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I received this on a day when I had to go to boot camp and knew I would be washing my hair afterwards, so if this didn't work it wouldn't be a disaster. It just seemed to clump my hair up and leave it stiff.1
Used once as instructed. I have fine curly hair but a lot of it. Right after I used this hair was tacky, dry, knotted and needed to be washed immediately! After a good wash and good condition I still could barely get comb through my hair.1
I tried this after a day of wearing my hair in a ponytail, and was so excited to try my first dry shampoo. This product left my hair sticky, brittle, and unmanageable. I couldn't even get all of the power out of my hair. I immediately had to take a shower, and I was very disappointed.1
I'm a frequent user of dry shampoo. My hair (thankfully) only gets oily after about 3 days of no washing. I followed the directions on bottle & I brushed and brushed and brushed the powder out. Then I ran my fingers through the remaining powder to loosen it up. I honestly feel like it made my hair look worse.1
This is the worst dry shampoo I have ever used. I had to wash my hair twice to get it out. It made my head sticky and stiff and it was just horrible.1
This product smells great but left my hair feeling heavy and super sticky. I have fine hair and this weighed down my hair and made it unmanageable. I would not recommend.1
I tried this dry shampoo on a day when I knew I shouldn't have . . .
I have very curly hair and usually stay away from dry shampoo on non-wash days when my hair is curly. In the off chance that this product might be superior to other's I've used, I decided to give it a try. I sprayed it quite a ways from my hair and was still left with a lot of white residue and the feeling it left was very sticky and almost hairspray-like. The product smelled nice but I will be giving it to a friend to try . . .
I was so excited when I received this in my Birchbox as I had been really hoping to try a dry shampoo. I used it according to the directions on my hair and my hair honestly felt worse than before I used it. It felt sticky and I couldn't shake all of the powder out. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing this, but it may just be that dry shampoo isn't for me rather than this being a bad product.1
I was very excited to try this product, and was disappointed in the results. I felt like this product made my hair very oily. I straightened my hair the day before, and followed the directions the day after. If I didn't need to run out the door, I would have jumped in the shower and washed my hair it felt so oily!1
I tried this product one night before I was going out with my boyfriend. I have auburn hair that I wear straight, and this simply did NOT work for me. It left my roots difficult to brush, sticky, and stiff as all get out. And on top of it, since it was so difficult to brush through, my roots were now a highly unflattering shade of gray! I actually walked out of the bathroom to show my boyfriend how ridiculous I looked, and he started laughing hysterically. Probably the worst dry shampoo I've ever used. Only way I could see this being useful in the future is for a style that needs lots of teasing, and can be styled in a way that covers up the grey. I think I'll stick with powder dry shampoos and with hairspray for any teasing.1
