In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I have been totally obsessed with the idea of using a dry shampoo. I have very long, thick hair and only wash it every few days. Usually on day 3 it's in a ponytail to hide some of the build up. Because my hair is blonde, I can usually get away with using baby powder to disguise any unsavory sections, but I thought upping my game and using a legit dry shampoo would be better. It was like Birchbox read my mind...a dry shampoo magically appeared in my mailbox and voila, problems solved....at least in my mind. After trying the dry shampoo my hair felt crusty - dry, sticky, and over processed. A ponytail could not salvage the situation, so I had to wash my hair a few times to get it back to it's bouncy natural state. I'll likely stick to baby powder...1
I did not like this at all. It left my hair feeling stiff and sticky. It smelled too strong. Made it look dirtier than it was before.1
I have very fine hair and I tried this dry shampoo (followed the directions to a tee) and my hair was hard as a rock. I couldn't brush out my hair afterwards and it was a big tangled mess. I had to wash my hair and even after that not all the shampoo came out. It took shampooing my hair 2 times to full get all the residue off. This dry shampoo is not for me! :(1
I have medium to dark brown/reddish hair and I have run into the same problem with this dry shampoo as I have with others...It turns my hair white! I thought that maybe since this was a little nicer brand, it would be done a little differently, but no. I even tried brushing it out like the directions say to, but it does nothing except turn my brush powdery white. I think there should be a dry shampoo for blondes (this one), and a dry shampoo for those of us with darker hair. Also, once I sprayed it, for the next 5 minutes there was a haze throughout my bathroom! I just wasn't a fan.1
I use dry shampoo regularly, so I was thrilled to receive a brand I haven't tried yet...and then I tried it. Sticky, stinky, left my hair feeling like a tangled mess of straw, and on top of that, it left my scalp and roots SO white! No way would I buy this product.1
I tried this product the other morning wanted to freshen up my hair. I have very long, thin hair. I found this product to be very difficult to brush out. The result turned out to be horrible: mu hair looked dirty and terribly flat, the texture of it was also very rough, I didn't like it at all. I ended up having to wash my hair quickly before leaving the house. I cannot say anything about white residues because I have blond hair. I was not too fond of the smell either, a bit too strong and noticeable. I used similar products in the past and I would definitely go back to Batiste or Klorane products, way better!!!1
I rarely need a dry shampoo as my hair tends to be dry and my scalp has little oil production. I tried this product, anyway, and found it to be effective, albeit unnecessary, for my hair. Its scent did remind me of earlier version of dry shampoos I used in the past. This product may be great for someone with oilier hair.1
The best attribute of this product is its scent--which I love! However, even when used sparingly, this product is too heavy and sticky for my fine hair. It leaves A LOT of white powdery residue which is difficult to comb out. This is not a good dry shampoo for fine, thin hair.1
I wash my hair everyday; thus, I wouldn't use a product like this.1
I was excited to use this product because I felt that it would save me time in the morning if I didn't wash my hair. I followed the instructions on the back of the bottle. When it was time to flip my hair and brush it I could barely get my brush through my hair! It left a thick, dirty-looking film on the top of my head. It also left white flakes throughout my brush. I ended up having to wash my hair after all as I would not walk out the door with this product in my hair. I would not recommend this product.1
