In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I've been dying to try a dry shampoo. I have long hair that is on the dry side so I don't wash but every third day or so. I used this on my third day and my hair looked great. had heard about white problems, but I didn't have any.4
I was really excited to try this dry shampoo because by day 2 my hair looks a little flat and oily. I love the smell, but it left my hair feeling stiff and feeling like it was loaded with product (even when I used only a little).2
I am so glad that you have this venue for comment because I am urging people to NEVER buy or use this product. It is the WORST hair product EVER! This stuff totally ruined the texture of my hair. My hair is thick, course, and tends to be dry, so on the morning of day 3 I tried the product--making sure to follow the directions EXACTLY, since I don't usually use dry shampoos. I felt like I'd sprayed paint or glue onto my hair because it was so stiff and dry, and it took awhile for me to even get the brush through my hair. It stood straight up, and I was afraid my hair would actually break off. I had to take the time to massage conditioner in to try to loosen up the stiff mess, and then wash and condition--not once but twice-- with an argan oil product to get the stuff out, and to try to make my hair softer. It is 5 days later and the texture of my hair is still too dry.1
This is a fantastic product. I have extremely curly hair, and it is hard to find a dry shampoo that does not matte everything down or just clump my hair together. This product is fantastic! Very effective and it smells great. Definitely plan to purchase.4
That's the magic trick to this dry shampoo. I love the way it leaves my hair refreshed, but still textured and cool.5
I don't think dry shampoos are for me in general. This one wasn't bad, and I didn't mind the smell. I know washing your hair every day isn't supposed to be good, but nothing beats the outcome of a fresh wash for me. I do have short hair so my styling time is less, and I can't throw it up if I'm in a hurry... Either way it doesn't make my hair feel fresh at all. I might use the rest of the sample on those "running errands" days and see if I like it any more.3
Love the smell, but hate the way it left my hair feeling. It does absorb the oils, but leaves the hair feeling dirty.3
I have thick, straight dark hair that is just below shoulder length. I'm starting to gray a little bit around the temples, and this product seemed to emphasize the contrast. Additionally, I did not really like the feeling of my hair after using it - I felt even more like I needed to wash it immediately. I went ahead and spent the day like that - the only real benefit to the product was that my hair was very clean and voluminous when I did use my regular shampoo/conditioner later that day.2
adds lots of volume which I LOVE. great for adding to the look of a messy bun or ponytail, great smell, and does the job it was designed to do, extend the time between washes. It does take a couple of minutes to really dry but after that you're set. Only issue is, and why I gave it 4 and not 5, it will leave a white powder if you put it on too thick in one spot.4
... because I love, love, love the formula and the way this dry shampoo makes my hair feel. On the other hand, I really can't stand the way it smells. It blended into my hair beautifully and it gave my third-day unwashed hair new life and body. But it literally smells like a church lady. So maybe I'll buy it, maybe I'll find something similar with a friendlier scent.3
