In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
This dry shampoo made my hair sticky and messy. I also did not like the sent at all. I ended up taking a shower right after using it to get it out of my hair.1
I can't believe all the negative reviews of this product on here, because it was amazing for me. I got this in my box and was really happy because the last dry shampoo I had was not doing it for me. This product is great. I was skeptical of the description of the scent, but it's actually very nice. It makes it easy to style my day two hair, and keeps the grease at bay all day. I would definitely consider buying the full version.5
I was excited to try a new dry shampoo. I have dark hair, and there are so few products that don't leave white residue. Well, this one is no exception. I couldn't get the white dried on powder look out of my hair. The texture was awful, and my hair actually looked greasier after using the product. I'll stick with the $3 Suave dry shampoo (which is still the best smelling, and least residue-leaving product I've found to date).1
So I've NEVER tried a dry shampoo before. I got this in my birchbox and figured I'd try it on my hair this morning. I usually wash it every morning because it feels a greasy and gross. This morning I sprayed it in my hair and it turned grey. I was a little freaked out, but I waited 2 minutes and then brushed my hair and not only was the grey gone, but my hair was revitilized. The texture isn't AS good as washing and blow drying, but the greasiness was gone and so was any frizz! I will 100% use this again if I'm in a hurry and can't wash my hair.4
When I think of dry shampoo I think of getting rid of grease. I don't feel like it did that really. It is more of a volumizer. Makes your hair a bit stiff. Agreed with everyone else the smell is strong but that does help the day old hair smell I think. Use a little bit for lift with a ponytail and it does the job a guess. Not amazing though.3
I tried it and i have some at home but i never like the way it makes my hair feel and i always end up putting a hat on anyway so its not just this product im just not a dry shampoo fan3
I was excited to try this product, but the results were disappointing. My hair was not noticeably less greasy, but it did have more volume; unfortunately, the volume was sort of stiff and my hair didn't move very well. Even after combing out the excess, this left powdery flakes on my scalp. Finally, the scent is nice, but it's a little strong - by the end of the day I was really sick of smelling it. I think I'll stick to good old fashioned baby powder to refresh my second-day hair.1
I was very happy with this product. I have been looking for a higher end dry shampoo and this one is it! Love the smell, and is very effective. I use it on my "second day" hair, as well as sometimes on freshly washed hair to create volume. The small sample size is also great for travel.5
Ive tried TONS and TONS of dry shampoo. I find that I haven't really had a lot of success with any of them from the drugstore brands to more expensive sephora brands and none have done the trick. I have really long super thin hair that is bleached and tends to get greasy the day after washing and also lacks in body. This dry shampoo not only took away the grease but also gave my lifeless hair a tremendous amount of body! Just be careful because you only need a VERY small amount, some of the reviews say that the product caused them to have more greasy hair and that also happened to me because I used too much!5
I have very fine hair and generally wash it daily. I was glad to get a sample of the Serge Normant dry shampoo, as I'd always wondered if I could get away without washing my hair by using a dry shampoo. Glad I didn't spend the money, because this proved that dry shampoos are not for me. I followed the directions, using a minimal amount of product and let it dry for 2 minutes before combing through. Left my hair with a strange texture, as if I'd used WAY too much hairspray. From now on, I'll either wash my hair or stay at home!2
