In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I love dry shampoo and use it everyday. This was the most disgusting dry shampoo I've ever tried. It made my hair greasy, sticky, and did nothing to the appearance but make it look worse. I have been using a different brand of dry shampoo for over a couple years and I love it. I pay $25 for it and would not pay $1 for this.1
I am a huge user of dry shampoos because I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week. I have thick curly/wavy hair. I tend to prefer powder dry shampoos, I just think they do a better job absorbing. There is a spray dry shampoo that I do like and use too. I was excited to try this brand but definitely disappointed. The scent is masculine in my opinion. It reminds me of a man's body wash or cologne. I hate the smell or at least it's not a scent I wish to smell like being a girl. Also I sprayed far from my head as you are suppose to with all dry shampoos and it defiinitely left a gray dingy look to my hair. I have really dark brown hair so it showed in mine. This product just was not for me.2
I have naturally thick, dry hair and this dry shampoo left it feeling like straw. It would be great for someone with finer hair since it does give a lot of volume, but that's not something I need.2
One star for the scent and you can't pick zero. This product was a disappointed. I love the idea of dry shampoo because I normally don't wash my hair everyday so I thought this would be a great alternative but, after following the directions and spraying it on the roots and hair from 10 ins. away, it sprayed on too thick, left my red hair grey even after combing through, which was a challenge with how sticky it left my hair. The texture was awful. Will not be buying this.1
I was not feeling so hot but was heading to work, so I decided to use this product for the first time to give my hair a quick boost. While it effectively soaked up the "shine" in my hair, it also left it feeling very gummy and tangled.
Pros: smells good, easy to use
Cons: even following the instructions of flipping my head upside down and combing the excess out (after 2 min!) there was still a slight halo effect to my hair. Even though I did not use much, the product caused my hair to be very gummy - even hours later I can't run my fingers through my hair. I love that it got rid of the shine but dislike the fact that my hair has zero movement or body.
Will be using other products instead. Nice sample size though!
I love dry shampoos! I have long hair and don't like washing it every day, I have tried many brands and this one is one of my favorites! I think birchbox sent a clary sage hair powder once too that I really liked, but this one is more convenient in spray form. It smells great too!5
This product left my hair feeling kinda gross. I am a baby powder on my bangs kinda girl.3
I tried this product today & immediately regretted it. My hair is greasier than before I applied it. Of course, I used it because I didn't have time to wash my hair before work - now I have to because it's greasy & with too much volume. Yuck.1
I have a small collection of dry shampoos from basic Baby Powder to sophisticated wet/dry spray. This was a fabulous combination of both. The application was simple, the smell was pleasant, and the end result garnered exactly the style I was hoping for!!!5
This was my first time using a dry shampoo. I sprayed the product on my hair, waiting and it turned grey. I tried brushing out the grey, but it was sticky and very, very dry. My hair was very dull and unable to pull my fingers through my hair. The smell was not very appealing either. Not for me.1
