In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I'm not a huge fan of dry shampoos anyway. I liked this one better than most powder shampoos I've tried in the past. It is sticky, which I don't care for. Probably won't be purchasing this product.2
I've used other dry shampoos and compared to those, this one seemed very heavy and it dried out my hair. I like to use dry shampoos to refresh my hair because I can only wash it every 3-4 days to keep it from drying out. I have very thick, wavy hair and did not need the extra volume that this dry shampoo gave me. I prefer a lighter product to this.2
I've used a lot of dry shampoos, and typically do not like aerosols, but I'm impressed by this product. It smells AMAZING and gives tons of volume. My hair looks like it has just been washed—but how it feels is another story. The spray is very sticky, and while it definitely absorbs oil, it also leaves residue of its own and dulls the roots a little.4
Awful, awful, awful. Sticky and oily and made my hair look a million times worse than it already did! Baby powder would have been more effective in an emergency. I am definitely sticking to Oscar Blandi dry shampoo!1
I really didn't like this product at all. It made my hair feel very heavy and sticky, like I had used WAY too much product. My hair is blonde and it made it look white. I'm not sure what kind of hair it would work on but it's definitely not for me.1
Made my hair sticky and nasty. Totally made a small problem completely worse.1
This product makes your hair feel dirtier and oily than before. The smell was nice, but my hair just felt sticky and gross afterwards.1
I've been using dry shampoo regularly for a while now - my hair is thick and doesn't get too greasy, but my slept-on hair can use a volume boost. Well, this was not what I needed at all - it went on fine, i rubbed it in, and my hair felt clumpy. I couldn't brush it out enough to make my hair look normal. The only spot it DID work on was my bangs - the holding power actually keeps them looking better than without (and that's the only reason I gave this product a 2).2
This dry shampoo has scored a 10 out of 10 for me. I have very fine thin hair that is color treated therefore I don't wash my hair everyday. I like having a dry shampoo that will remove the extra oil in my hair but won't leave a residue that makes it even more oily the next day. I've found with other brands that the aerosol version of their dry shampoos, that is very likely...until I tried this one. I received a sample in my March box and will definitely be purchasing a full size of it. Not only does it leave my hair looking like it was washed that day but it gives it the lift that's needed after a day or two of not styling or blowing out. Also the smell is subtle and not too overpowering. Definitely give this a try if you have fine hair and love dry shampoo like me.5
Oh my, as any dark haired girl knows, dry shampoos can be scary. I was really hoping this wouldn't be the case, but unfortunately, I was left with beautiful GRAY hair. I use a low end drugstore brand dry shampoo and I'm very happy with it. As much as the smell and the volume were great, this Serge Normant dry shampoo left me with a gray dusty disaster. It also dries very quickly and made my hair really difficult to brush through. If you have fine dark hair, I'd really avoid this brand of dry shampoo.1
