In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
This dry shampoo was not my fave . . . have used others in the past, and was excited to try this one out. Left a relatively heavy powder residue in my hair and the smell . . . just too much! Maybe somewhere between baby power and floral? Prefer a lighter scent.2
I love a dry shampoo, but this one does not live up to ANY expectations. It has WAY to much talc/clay that it puts in the hair. It is like watered down baby powder. I usually love all dry shampoos (except for TREsemme- it has the exact same consistency as this one, and Victoria's Secret just stinks-BAD) but this made my hair dull, gray, and look worse than it did. I can get WAY better results from a light weight dry shampoo like Dove.1
Let me just say that I was crossing my fingers to receive this product in my March Birchbox after viewing the Sneak Peek. Lo and behold, I received it!
My hair normally starts getting semi-greasy the day after washing it. I had been using some ol' fashioned baby powder and have been wanting to try a "real" product for hair. So, I followed the directions on the back of the can. Disappointing! It left my hair feeling even more "greasier" with a nasty texture. I tried it again a couple more times just to be sure, but unfortunately this product is ineffective. I guess it does work because it MAKES you want to wash your hair right after spraying, haha. According to my experience, I definitely would not recommend this product. It will either be sitting on my shelf collecting dust or in the trash.
I'm pretty new to dry shampoo, but I know it's not supposed to work like this. It made my hair sticky and coarse and when I tried to brush it out my hair got tangled and messy. I had to take a shower right after to get it all out, so it does exactly the opposite of what it's supposed to do. It made my room smell weird for the rest of the day.1
Let me just say, I was crossing my fingers after watching the March Sneak Peeek, hoping I would receive this in my March Birchbox. Lo and behold, I did! My hair gets semi-greasy the day after washing it. I had been using baby powder, which works very well I might add--but wanted to try a "real" product designed for hair. So, I followed the directions on the back of the bottle. Disappointing! It left my hair feeling even "greasier" with a nasty texture. Used it a couple more times just to be sure, and each time I got the same result. I guess it does work in a sense because it MAKES you wash your hair after using the product, haha. Overall from my experience, I totally wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. Sample will be going on the shelf to collect dust or either in the trash. You'll be better off using baby powder!1
I love trying new dry shampoos--always trying to get to that perfect second day hair. This one is not it. I followed the instructions and sprayed lightly, but my medium-thickness hair immediately became like a helmet. I couldn't run my fingers through my hair--even after blowing it out. My hair wouldn't move. I wouldn't recommend this product.1
This product is my first experience with dry shampoo-- never again! Made my hair feel sticky and gross and the after smell it left on my hair reminded me of the hospital (where we use a lot of no-rinse shampoo). All-in-all, NOT the product for me!!!1
Since I have chemically treated and curly hair I do not shampoo often. This product refreshes my hair and I love it.4
This product was nice, but I have thick hair that gets oily easily. This product didn't work as well as I had hoped, but it smells great and the packaging is cute. I'll stick to my Batiste Dry Shampoo which is also 1/3 of the price of the Serge Normant.3
This product was just alright. I am not really a fan of dry shampoo. I do love that it gave my hair volume..but by the end of the day it was kind of a hot mess from how sticky and thick it was!3
