In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
When that alarm clock goes off and you just want 30 more minutes, this product will be a God-send. I have tried several other dry shampoos (from Bedhead to Bumble and Bumble) and this is by far the best I've used. Pleasant scent, works into hair well and gives it added volume so your not-so-clean hair isn't sticking to your scalp.5
Maybe dry shampoo just isn't the thing for my hair, but I wasn't overly impressed with this product. I've used 3 or 4 different types of dry shampoos before, and this one felt thicker with more residue, and took a couple minutes to get all the powder out - even though I didn't spray much at all, and kept it 10" away from my hair as it instructed. It made my hair smell better and didn't make it shiny or oily looking, it just made it feel a little...residue-y? I'm definitely going to give it a few more tries because I still have the sample can and I may be judging too soon, but using it the first couple times didn't make me want to buy it at all. Again, maybe dry shampoo really isn't the right thing for my fine textured hair - I think other people who find dry shampoos effective would probably like it more than I did.3
I've only used this once and didn't like the results, too sticky, but I'm going to give it a few more tries just to make sure it wasn't user error.3
I am usually NOT a fan of dry shampoo because they tend to leave a dusty residue, however this product leaves no residue and a subtle fresh scent. My hair is usually oily and I get that second-day "flat" look but after I sprayed the roots only I got an instant volume boost. I suggest flipping your hair upside down and misting the roots around the nape of your neck, then kind of "scrunch" with your fingers. Flip your head back and section two 2-inch sections in the front "bang" area and spray the roots. Then section one or two rectangular section on both sides of your head and spray the roots. Finally, section two 1-inch sections where you would tease a "bump", spray each section and lightly tease - and viola - beautiful bouncy volume! I know it's a lot of steps but it's totally worth it. I hope this helps! (P.S. I've done this same "procedure" with two other dry shampoos and never got as good of results as I did with this one!)5
I'm not sure why this product has gotten such poor reviews. I have pretty fine hair and wash it every couple days. I got this as a sample in my box for March and really like it. It smells really great and gives my hair excellent volume. It did not make my hair greasy or anything. I thought it worked perfectly.5
I love this dry shampoo! My hair was a bit dull after styling it the day before and I did not have time to wash it. This product was amazing and freshening up my style!5
The product was probably the worst I've ever gotten in my box. When sprayed on, the dry shampoo leaves your hair with a sticky consistency and the roots appear gray. Even after waiting two minutes and coming it out, it still looked and felt awful. However, the smell of the shampoo smells good.1
I don't like dry shampoos and have not used one that seems to make my hair not oily. Perhaps I am biased since I felt this way before I tried Serge Normant's dry shampoo - but either way I felt oily and not clean after. It did smell good though.1
i think its ok. Good to have a sample size for travelling. So nothing too special.4
I used this product on slightly dirty/oily hair and felt its much better as a volumizer than a dry shampoo. It gave my hair a sticky, teased, thick texture vs a clean and refreshed texture like other dry shampoos I've tried. I won't be using it again.2
