In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
It made my hair look okay, but my hair feels disgusting and I couldn't run my fingers through it if I wanted to. I'd MUCH rather purchase a $5 can of Psst.1
I have a ton of long, thick hair that is a total pain to wash and dry so I try to extend my blow outs as long as possible. I consider myself somewhat of a dry shampoo snob; I've tried a gazillion of them and am really picky about what I want out of one. My biggest issue is that my hair is dark brown and many dry shampoos that actually absorb the oil leave a weird white/gray residue on my hair. This Serge Normant dry shampoo is definitely one of the best ones I've ever tried, it smells amazing (another problem I often run into), gives you MEGA volume and doesn't turn my hair ashy. One thing that is important to note is this product is not going to "clean" your hair in the sense that it will feel freshly washed - you'll definitely feel like there's product in your hair. I hate the way my hair feels when it's freshly washed so it works perfect for me. I can't wait to buy a full-sized one!5
I really like how this revives my hair and doesn't feel stiff or greasy after working it through. I don't use dry shampoo often enough to purchase it, but it might make my shopping list someday.4
I like the smell and feel of this dry shampoo. My only problem with it is that I have curly hair that I have to get wet everyday to style, so I have no need for a dry shampoo. I will definitely be gifting this though and possibly buying a full size around Christmas to give as a good gift!3
This product did give my hair some volume, but left it feeling heavy and a bit oily. I'll be sticking to my normal brands.1
The main reason why I like using real shampoo is because it makes my scalp feel clean. This product is good for cleaning hair but not the scalp.3
I personally do not use dry shampoos a whole lot. When I tried this, it surprisingly acted like a hairspray as opposed to a dry shampoo. I guess what threw me off was the strong smell. It's more of a musk which isn't bad. The product does it's job, but also gives a lift in your hair.4
I love this brand and the sample size was huge, but I can't decide if this smells great or if it smells like old lady!! It's a really volumizing formulation, so it gives my hair a nice boost and bounce in the morning if I showered the night before. All in all, I think I will use this sample as a travel dry shampoo, but I probably will stick with my regular, less expensive dry shampoo for daily use.4
I am a huge dry shampoo aficionado(a?). At any given moment I have at least two different brands in my apartment, and usually in multiples because I go through it so quickly.
So when I went to go try this product, I had maybe third-day hair, and I used it like I use all my other dry shampoos - I shook the bottle, lifted my hair, and sprayed at the roots. What resulted was kind of unpleasant, but not totally unique. TreSemme's dry shampoo does the same thing: it loaded up my hair with product that did not brush out, but left my roots stringier than they were before and quite dirty-looking.
After watching the video for insight, I think that the key to making this stuff work is having the other products (like the dry oil) to offset the heaviness of this dry shampoo, which isn't very helpful when you're just trying to test a sample. I like my dry shampoos to be DRY - they clean up my hair far more efficiently.
I hadn't washed my hair for a couple of days and I decided to try this before going out. It left my hair extremely stiff and I could not get rid of the white powder without putting water in my hair. My hair turned out worse than I had started with, and I would not ever use this product again. There are others that are more effective and have no powder residue.
Don't waste your money.
