In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I didn't shampoo my hair this morning so I could try this product and I really wish I had. After spraying it in my hair and combing the powder through my hair still felt oily. For emergencies this would be ok.3
this stuff is awesome - it took my 3-day old unwashed hair, and brought it back to life. Made it a little more bouncy, and smells great. Love it!4
I'm not crazy about this product, It makes your hear look gray at the roots and sticky. Sorry not for me.1
When I first sprayed the product in my hair I thought it made my hair feel rough and even after combing out the powder I didn't like how my hair felt. However throughout an 8 hour day at work my hair felt soft and still looked cleaned. I've used Tresemme in the past and the "clean" look and feeling never lasted more than an hour. Great product to use to help you feel put together even when your not!4
If I could give negative stars I would. I wash my hair once a week and thought this would be a great addition to my dry shampoo collection. However, the one from CVS from Aveeno works so much better for much less. This made my hair sticky and look worse than when I began.1
I love dry shampoos, and tried this sample almost immediately upon using it. I was so disappointed in the texture and feeling that it gave my hair. Perhaps I used too much, but that wasn't indicated on the sample. I basically wanted to wash my hair as soon as I used this product, but it was too late and I had to leave for work. This product took my hair from an "OK" day to a bad hair day. I could see how it would be great if you were styling an editorial photo shoot. But not for me and not for everyday wear.1
I love dry shampoo, and usually use a drugstore brand, so I was excited to try this when it arrived. It was horrible! It was really sticky, almost like hairspray, and made my hair a huge sticky mess. I don't feel like it did anything to take the grease out of my hair, probably because it doesn't spray on like a powder like most other dry shampoos. I was running late for work (hence the dry shampoo instead of a wash) or I would have washed it out of my hair immediately. I would not recommend this to anyone!1
I have been meaning to try a dry shampoo for a while, so although I am not a huge fan of haircare products in my Birchbox, this was a pleasant surprise.
I used it in the morning after a day of wearing my hair flat-ironed and not washed. It smells nice and for a while can brush off that oily look. It works similar to just putting baby powder in you hair (without the white powedery look).
It was nice, but after a few hours my hair just felt oily again. It did give a nice lift, but overall, I wasn't too impressed. It's nice to have and stash at the office, but I don't believe I would buy the full size product.
I LOVED this. I've tried a few dry shampoos, but I have fine, thin hair, and the added ANYTHING just made my hair limp, even if it did eliminate the grease.
While I'm not crazy about spraying cornstarch into my hair, this instantly makes my hair look awesome and keeps my hair from looking dank and stringy all day. I'll take product building any day if it means I can avoid heat-styling (that's what apple cider vinegar is for, anyway). I think this is the first product from BB that's I've tried and been like, "wow, I HAVE TO HAVE THIS."
Ugh, I sprayed this in my hair yesterday, and it was so sticky that when I went to comb through to get out the excess powder (as it says to do in the directions) my brush got stuck! Even after a thorough shampooing, my hair still felt like it had sticky residue left over.
The only positive thing I can say is that after realizing I couldn't wear my hair down with this, I braided it into an updo. The dry shampoo worked like a super hold hairspray and kept my 'do from moving all day.
