In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I was skeptical when I got this in my box. I've got long, thick blonde hair, and my hair tends to look dirty and greasy after two days (thanks, genes). I got my box on my second day of no shampooing and thought "can't be any worse than it is now! I can just shampoo it out if it sucks." I followed the directions (duh), loosely ran a brush though my locks and followed up with a headband. I went to the mirror and couldn't believe it! My hair looked clean and great, if a little matte (and it's recommended one uses a finishing oil afterwards, presumably to prevent that). This would be a perfect product on those mornings when I don't have for a full shower. Oh, and the smell is a little strong and cedar-y -- I think I used too much. It smells good though, but I'd use the smallest amount possible next time.5
I LOVED the smell of the dry shampoo. The only problem with it is that it turned my hair much greyer than the dry shampoo that I currently used does!3
This was nice whenever I leave my hair curly and instead of washing it and curling it all over again the next morning, I use this so my hair is still clean but I don't damage it by washing, drying, and curling it again.3
This stuff is awesome!! Never had much success with a dry shampoo before this. It's light & has a nice smell so it freshens up the scent too! And it doesn't leave that powdery look that most do & I have really dark hair!!! Totally does the job for my super oily hair!!!5
My hair looks dirty really fast so I love dry shampoos. I have only tried it once but so far so good. I like the way it makes my hair smell.4
This product does add volume as promised, however, after using it on day-old hair, my hair feels sticky, stiff, and tangled. It's a similar feeling to hairspray, in my opinion. After using this product, I can't run my fingers through my hair and wouldn't want to, because it is gross to the touch. Five minutes after trying it, I put my hair in a pony tail because I just couldn't stand it.1
This is the best smelling dry shampoo I have ever used! I like that the bottle is heavy too, which means that I am actually going to get some real use out of it.5
It was too heavy for my fine hair and made it feel sticky and weighed down. Have tried other brands of dry shampoo that work much better with my hair texture.3
This product was more like hair spray than a dry wash2
I used this product after a massage. The massage therapist used facial oils on my face and then proceeded to perform a scalp massage, so my hair was VERY greasy. A few sprays later and my hair didn't look greasy, but felt very thick. I put it in a pony to go shopping and once in the car my boyfriend commented, "You stink!" So I like the results, but the smell wasn't great. However, I have yet to use a dry shampoo that smells as good or better.3
