In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
This product is great for when you're hair needs a pick me up. The smell is pleasant, but I have to where my hair in a ponytail because of how crunchy this dry shampoo makes it.3
I have very fine, thin hair that really lacks volume. I use the the Serge Normant Rivive Dry Shampoo every time I put my hair up, whether it's just a messy bun, or a sock bun, or a braid. It smells amazing and gives my hair the texture and manageability I don't naturally have.
I have repurchased this (after sampling) several times. Just a note to potential buyers -- it is not easy to brush your hair after using this product, but that doesn't bother me given how I use it.
I used this dry shampoo for added volume, not just to get rid of excess oil in my hair. I used it in between washing my hair so it would help my hair look presentable without washing it. It really adds volume at the roots of your hair. The only thing I did not like about it was that it left my dark hair looking gray if I used too much.5
I have curly dry hair and I love that I can use this and it makes my hair look amazing on the third day!4
I have dark hair and this left a terrible white residue. However my friend who is blonde tried it and she loved it. She stole the bottle and even bought a full size when she ran out.3
I really don't like the smell or how it makes my hair feel. It makes my hair crunchy and thick... which is okay if it's going straight into a top knot, but absolutely cannot wear hair loose after using this. It will stay in that top knot or braid perfectly and tight all day... But I prefer my dry shampoo to add volume and dry up oil and keep my hair soft.1
This is why I don't normally splurge on dry shampoo...I didn't really notice a difference between this and my drug store brand? It did smell better though, but not worth it for the price.3
Everyone seems to be raving about dry shampoo these days. I have thick hair (lots and lots of fine strands), so I was skeptical. The first time I tried this product, I was kind of grossed out (it was sticky and matte-ifying). The second time, however, I took my friend's advice and massaged the product through my hair like you would do if you were shampooing in the shower. The effects were MUCH better- my second day hair looked clean(er) and smelled really nice.3
To me, this product was more of a hairspray than a dry shampoo. I felt like it left a sticky residue, and that's not what I'm going for when I use a dry shampoo product.1
Although this did not leave a white residue like some dry shampoos, it didn't do what it was meant to do at all: remove the oil from my hair. All it did was give my hair a heavier, greasier look that would not come out unless I washed it with shampoo. I would not recommend this. It does not work.1
