In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
This is by far my favorite dry shampoo - and I've tried a TON!! I only wash my hair twice a week - and I use this Meta Revive the day before my wash. I have really dark hair, and it's super thick. It goes on a little white, but once I tousle my roots with my fingers, plus comb my hair, every bit of the white disappears. It does make my hair a little "ratty" at the roots - but personally, I really like that. Other drugstore brands didn't do that and therefore, my hair looked greasy/oily. Unless I find something better, which is doubtful, this will forever be my go-to dry shampoo! Love!5
I loved this when I got it as a sample, so I ordered the full size -- for the most part, I like that it sort of thickens my hair and thus makes it look less greasy, but I hate the feel (I already have thick hair and lots of it) and I find that protect much harder to get rid of the white powder look. I have since found products that don't leave the write residue, so I think I'll stick with those from down on.3
I have long, curly hair. Daily washing makes it dry. On my non-washing days, I spray a little of this across my hair and it looks like it's newly clean. LOVE IT!4
Every busy girl needs a good dry shampoo. The Meta Revive absorbs excess oil, adds volume , and makes hair easily to style. Paired with the dry conditioner, these products leave second (or third day) hair smelling amazing4
I only use this if I am really desperate. I don't feel that it removes the oily feel to my hair. It can leave hear a little sticky. It is good for volume though. You will definitely have to wash your hair the next day.3
I am always looking for a great dry shampoo and this one fits the bill. I love this brand and love how it makes my hair feel and smell. I tell everyone to buy it!5
Good: Smells amazing.
Bad: Doesn't de-grease my hair, instead just makes it feel weird and clumpy.
I use this as more of a "hair refresher" when I've been around smoke or something else weird, just a little bit on my hands to get the stank out, because if I use it as a dry shampoo it just makes my hair feel terrible.
The positive is: This dry shampoo smells really good. My husband complimented me every time I used it. The negative: It gave my hair a sticky, starchy texture without absorbing oil.2
This is the best dry shampoo EVER! A little goes a long way. It is amazing at revitalizing beat bangs and smell divine.5
It seems like there's no way to edit my original review, so I'm just writing a new one. When I first got this in my box, I didn't know a lot about dry shampoo. I used it, and it seemed way too heavy and stiff. Now I know more about dry shampoo, and I really love it. It has a pretty steep learning curve, but I love it. You just have to know how to use it properly: hold the can about 10" away form your roots and spray VERY LIGHTLY. Seriously, use as little as possible. A very little bit goes a very long way. I wish the can was designed to spray a lighter stream. Work in sections. After you have finished spraying, wait two minutes for it to dry. It may look a bit white, but don't worry. After two minutes have passed, hit all the areas you sprayed with the shampoo with a hair dryer set on high, and use your fingers to work the product into the roots of your hair, then brush through your hair.
I use it right after I have washed and dried my hair, and it keeps my hair clean for two days. It also gives extra body and lift to my hair, which I like because I have very fine hair, and it can look pretty flat sometimes. One star off because it's a bit difficult to use, and I wish they had designed the can so that the product came out in a finer stream when you spray it.
