In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
This dry shampoo doesn't leave white powder or a chalky look, but it made my hair clump up and proved difficult to style with. I like to use dry shampoo at the end of the day to give my hair a lift before evening activities, but this one proved to weigh my hair down more than refresh it.3
I really liked this product. 1. it doesn't appear white when you spray it on your hair. 2.it doesn't leave your hair feeling sticky like other brands do.4
I've tried to use this product a number of times and it always makes my hair stiff and clumpy. It also makes my scalp itch like crazy! Still searching for a quality dry shampoo.2
I thought I would try a different brand of dry shampoo just to see if there were any others out there that I liked in addition to the one I consider my favorite, even though this one costs more than the one I consider my favorite. The product did soak up oil and add body to my fine hair, but was just too powder-y for my fine hair.4
This is my favorite dry shampoo. I love the smell, it's not visible in my hair, and it keeps the hair clean feeling, but still soft. I like to use it on my bangs specifically for a between day and night touch up.5
I use dry shampoos when I need to give my hair some texture when styling. This gives A LOT of texture! Doesn't flake or turn your hair white. It dulls the shine a bit, but I think all dry shampoos do that. Great product to use when you're trying to create a bouffant or high volume style. The scent is great too. Best dry shampoo yet!5
This product didn't seem to do a whole lot. I like to use a dry shampoo on days when I don't wash my hair and this did nothing to add volume or hid greasyness. Plus I was not a fan of the smell.1
It seems like the reviews are a bit mixed, but I really liked this product sample and plan to order the full size. I have long, thick, heavy, straight hair, and it can be a pain to try and keep it not oily looking. I liked the scent, and the spray didn't leave any white powder like some of the others I've tried do.4
This is by far my favorite dry shampoo - and I've tried a TON!! I only wash my hair twice a week - and I use this Meta Revive the day before my wash. I have really dark hair, and it's super thick. It goes on a little white, but once I tousle my roots with my fingers, plus comb my hair, every bit of the white disappears. It does make my hair a little "ratty" at the roots - but personally, I really like that. Other drugstore brands didn't do that and therefore, my hair looked greasy/oily. Unless I find something better, which is doubtful, this will forever be my go-to dry shampoo! Love!5
I loved this when I got it as a sample, so I ordered the full size -- for the most part, I like that it sort of thickens my hair and thus makes it look less greasy, but I hate the feel (I already have thick hair and lots of it) and I find that protect much harder to get rid of the white powder look. I have since found products that don't leave the write residue, so I think I'll stick with those from down on.3
