In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I would love to give this 5 stars because I love the way it smells, but I can't get over that it does add a little bit of that "I sprayed dry shampoo on my roots" look. It definitely is worth a try, as I have very dry, unruly hair, and anything that can be semi useful to me is sure to work wonders for someone else.4
This hairspray is awesome. I've already bought the full size version. It holds my style but still feels great. And the smell is soooooo nice :)5
Works well when you need to touch up hair on an off day. Need to remember to spray at a decent distance from hair to get full effect and not waste product.3
This volumizing spray is great. It boosts and lifts without leaving a sticky texture in your hair and the smell is great. I had previously purchased the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray which I didn't think could get better, but the Serge Normant is on that level if not better. I'm very happy, and carry this sample in my purse at all times. A little bit goes a long way, and it has lasted me for a long time now!
I have thin hair and a lot of it. It made my hair feel kinda sticky and stiff; it felt more like hairspray. Not great but I have yet to find a dry shampoo that I love. However, a friend of mine tried it and he liked it so much that the next time he came to visit he took a picture with his phone so he could buy it! Maybe better for short hair?3
I have yet to find a dry shampoo that actually works on my dark hair. This one was no exception. It made my hair dull, flat, and even greaser looking. I didn't love the scent either. Definitely not for me...onto the next one1
I love dry shampoos and I've tried MANY in the last few months. This dry shampoo sucks as a dry shampoo, but it's an okay texturizing spray. The whole point of dry shampoo is to soak up oils in your hair and make your hair look clean. This does not do that! Plus, if you spray too much, your hair will become completely unmanageable, sticky, and matted. If you buy this, don't expect a dry shampoo. If you're getting this for its volumizing power, then you might be happy. Overall, I just wouldn't recommend it.2
Maybe I just don't understand dry shampoo but I just couldn't get this to work. My hair felt so weird after using it, I would have preferred to just leave my hair dirty.1
I got this as a sample in my birchbox and was excited to try it, but I ended up throwing out the sample after a few tries! Whenever I used it, I ended up having to wash my hair anyway because it left such a thick, sticky residue on my hair that it looked flat and gross.1
So I am in love with this dry shampoo. Others I have tried have awful smells or leave your hair feeling dry and sticky. This dry shampoo is beyond anything I imagined. I ordered this one right after using the sample size in my monthly box. Best way to sample.5
