We love splurging at the salon for a jaunty new cut and a Victoria’s Secret-style blowout, and we can’t help noticing how our hair smells amazing afterwards. Now we can recreate that freshly styled scent at home. Celeb hair guru Serge Normant concocted this musky jasmine fragrance for hair and body, and it contains the added bonus of conditioning ingredients. Add a spritz to complement dry shampoo or for a quick pick-me-up.
I love love LOVE the scent of the Serge Normant dry shampoo and conditioner so I was crazy excited about getting the perfume. I just got it and its such a huge let down. It doesn't smell anything like the other products. It smells cheap, old, and cloyingly sweet. I'm about to hop in the shower so I don't have to smell like it anymore. I'm returning it, but I'll probably use the money I get back to buy 3 more dry conditioners! Soooo disappointed. I'm only giving it one star because I have to.1
When they say musk, they mean musk... Like, super musk. I'm a fairly conservative mid westerner, one spray of Serge Normant Avah Eau Parfum and I turned into an elderly, Russian street walker. It has powers! Unfortunately, not the powers I'm searching for.2
I love fragrance and I have many to suit my many moods, however I really don't like this one. It doesnt suit my personality, and it confuses my senses. I can't describe it, except to say their is musk in it but can't describe the other notes. I gave it two stars instead of one because I like the concept of a hair fragrance.2
I purchased the Serge Norman Avah perfume because I was interested in a quality hair scent. I would say the fragrance itself is nothing like anything I've ever experienced. Its floral, but nearly androgynous in makeup. Also, it actually has quite a bit of oil composition, as my hair has a sheen after applying the scent. My one and only complaint is that the scent doesn't last at all. If it was a more lasting fragrance, I would say this is one of the best scents on the market , for both hair and body.3
I love the smell of Serge's hair products so I was hoping this perfume smelled the same. There are some heavy top notes in the fragrance that are a little overpowering at first. Once they diminish a little, the fragrance is similar to the intoxicating smell I love.4
I first fell in love with this scent from the Serge Normant meta lush volumizer. I was using loads of it just for the scent. Ask and ye shall receive... The cologne to match is here. If you love the hair products, you'll love the cologne.4
I'm a bit of a perfume snob. I haven't purchased a pedestrian perfume from a department store in about a decade. Instead, I gravitate towards niche fragrances. Why? I don't want to smell like every-other woman in the world. I want some mystery, some suspense. This perfume is all of that and more. It's a daring scent that is almost unisex, but there is something also very feminine about it. I get SO many compliments. And, at $60, it is ridiculously affordable. So if you don't want to smell like the masses, buy this. You won't regret it!5
Unlike the majority of sweet perfumes out there, this one is uniquely musky & woodsy without being masculine. I spray it on my hair and many people comment about how great it smells. Very luxe!5
I bought this perfume last month and I'm so glad I did!! Not only can I use it for my hair but as an all over perfume it smells ROYAL!!!!!!5
I say kind of musky, because it has sort of a masculine smell but the husband says it definitely smells feminine. In this case that is perfect because it gives my hair a clean smell that I myself find very attractive, and so does he!5
