In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this travel-sized bottle of dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I was excited when I got this sample a few weeks ago. I decided to branch out from my usual dry shampoo and try this stuff this morning. I sprayed it in my hair, waited a couple of minutes, and tried to brush it through my hair. It made my hair so white, stiff, and unmanageable. I do not recommend this at all, whatsoever.1
It does the job but with so many texturizing dry shampoos out there that are CLEAR, this one leaving a white powder in your hair isn't really cutting it for industry standards. Use sparingly or else you'll end up needing a washing as it will seem you have dandruff.2
This shampoo is great. It didn't make my hair feel heavy with produce and the fragrance was understated.5
My hair doesn't look/feel greasy
Gives my hair more texture to play with
Feels like hairspray, not a shampoo
Makes hair very stiff and sticky
It worked but it felt like hairspray on my hair and I didn't like the way it felt on my hair. I would only use it when I pulled my hair up. Wouldn't recommend it. I like other dry shampoos that I have bought from birchbox much better.2
This stuff feels like it doesn't come out. No matter hoe little I put in or how much I brush out my hair it just stays sticky. I'm not a fan.2
This dry shampoo was disappointing. Using only a small amount is still too much of this product for my hair. It has way too much hold (like using hairspray) and I then had to use a finishing spray just to keep my hair from being stiff. If you are looking for a dry shampoo that refreshes your hair, this is not it.2
I love dry shampoo. I use it even on days that I've already washed my hair to give extra texture. This is one of the brands out of about 10 that I've tried. Probably one of my least favorite - the smell is ok, but it left my hair feeling very waxy. Not going to buy again.2
I have fine hair and it can get really murky looking if I use too much product. This dry shampoo, if used lightly, seems to work well with my hair. I would recommend it. You just need to be cautious of how much you spray.4
I use the Serge Normant dry conditioner and love it, so I thought I'd try the dry shampoo. I did not like the way it made my roots feel sticky. I read the directions and other customer reviews to make sure that I was using it correctly. It made me feel like my hair was dirty.2
