In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this travel-sized bottle of dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I was really excited to try this product. I have a bad habit of hitting that snooze a few too many times, opting for 15 more min of sleep instead of a shower. I followed the directions (I think) and my hair felt like it was full I hairspray. It did get rid of the greasy look. And once I got it up into a pony tail (struggled) it looked like semi clean hair but forget trying to wear it down or move it. Not a fan
*it did smell nice.
Unlike the other reviewers, I am a blonde so it did not show in my hair. However, I could not put a comb through my hair after using it and the smell was awful.2
I love trying new dry shampoo products because I get really oily hair in a matter of a day or two. When I received Serge Normant Meta Revive dry Shampoo my hair was really greasy. So it was the perfect timing to use this product. I was pleasantly suprised by the smell of the product. It's very clean smelling and doesn't smell like other dry shampoos. Yet the volume aspect of this product left my hair feeling a bit sticky like a cheap hair spray would. Because of this I didn't want to leave my hair down. So in all, it made my hair look less dirty when I put it up but I am still on the search for a dry shampoo that actually does the job.2
I am a hairstylist and have tried many dry shampoos. I would only reccommend this to blondes with thick hair. anyone with dark hair i would not. it does not dissolve good and makes dark hair look greyish2
I love the smell but this is like a can of aerosol glue. I'm Asian so the white residue really shows. This gunked up my hairbrush more than normal because it's so sticky. While the texture afterwards is better than store brands though, so if you have blonde hair this may be good for you. I prefer powders applied at bedtime; more time to work and easier to brush out in the morning.2
I really wanted to like this product. It smells pleasant, comes in a sleek bottle, and I've taken to reducing my frequency of hair washing to avoid hair fall. Dry shampoo is perfect for someone like me. Unfortunately after carefully following the instructions, I felt like my hair was coated in residue that wouldn't come out not only with a simple brushing, but also felt like I needed to shampoo twice the next time I was in the shower.
But it left white spots in my hair! Brushing afterward did not get rid of 'excess powder' so it looked like I had spraypainted spots into my hair!2
omg the residue!!!! don't buy it if you have dark hair. I followed the directions and sprayed it 10 inches away and everything and a terrible crusty white residue appeared on my hair. Disturbed but determined to press on, I brushed it out as directed. The white residue was still very obvious, only after combing for a really long time did I manage to get rid of it. If I wanted to spend 10 minutes on my hair I would I have just washed it. The only good thing about it is that is does really volumize your hair, so maybe if you have lighter hair this would work.2
By far the worst dry shampoo I have ever used. This formula was very heavy and made my hair so much more oily. It was really gross to touch. After trying to run my fingers through my hair residue was stuck to my fingers and would only come off with soap and water.1
This dry shampoo was awful, it left white powder as soon as you apply it and the next day it was still there. It was sticky and makes your scalp and hair rough.1
