In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this travel-sized bottle of dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
I used it while recovering from surgery that left me unable to wash my hair. I'm typically a wash every day kind of girl, so 3 days of no washing was trying for me!! It smells divine! It definitely helped in the volume area (no more bedhead!), but it did leave my hair feeling like I had used hairspray or mousse. I don't normally use styling products, so I didn't care for that feeling. It did freshen my hair up and absorbed the oil well. I would use it again when shampooing isn't an option.3
I am an avid fan of dry shampoo. I have very thick and curly hair so washing everyday is very time consuming. I work out alot so dry shampoo is a life savor. I like this dry shampoo, but I cannot say that I love it. It seems to have too much alcohol and made my scalp sticky. I used it on vacation and it was good for that, but for everyday I will stick with the brand I currently use.3
I have used this a couple times, and 'knowing' how to use it (hold about 10 inches from your roots, a little goes a long way) has bumped this from a two-star review to three. Pros: the smell is great, it zaps any grease & only a couple sprays are needed. Con: My fine hair looks and feels heavy if I keep it 'down'. But for a second or third day stylish, textured pony, it works great!3
I have never used a dry shampoo before so I was curious when I got this one, I didn't notice any real difference and ended up showering anyways but it smells really good!3
I've never tried dry shampoo before so I am going into this without any previous experience. All in all, it was effective at making my hair less greasy looking, but it made it stiff and unstylable like I had used too much hair spray. I also have thick hair though so that may be why. It did smell nice though.3
Before I even tried this product on my hair I heard a lot of bad reviews about it. Some people said don't use this product I could not even brush my hair after I put this in and some other comments too. Finally I used the dry shampoo and I liked it. I thought it gave my volume and worked really good. I only this I really didn't like about it was it left a weird texture on my hair. But other than that I this was a good dry shampoo.3
I have thick but fine hair that doesn't tend to get oily easily so I can go up to 5 days without washing it (with very minimal use of dry shampoo). On days 4 and 5 I usually use Batiste dry shampoo because of the quality and the price. Serge Normant's dry shampoo is OK. It absorbed a reasonable amount of oil, but it tended to leave my hair feeling gunky and very dry...but still somewhat oily-looking. Nice to try something new and the smell was great otherwise.3
Good dry shampoo. Nothing crazy special about it. Leaves hair a little grayish on darker hair. Gets rid of the oils though. Would use again3
I was excited to try a new dry shampoo! This product was a bit too thick feeling on my hair. It took a while to brush/comb out the white residue. I had to apply a lot of shine spray afterwards to make my hair look better and any time I would touch my hair it just felt gross. It definitely worked so I could run out the door without showering, but it didn't feel good to the touch! The scent was nice though and I continued to smell it throughout the day.3
I can't wash my hair everyday, because it dries out. I was really excited about trying this product because I currently use baby powder to soak up oil on my second day.
One thing I noticed that might make a difference next time is that when you first spray it, it's not white which might lead a person to spray more on. I left it for two minutes like suggested then tried to comb it out, but it just stayed in my hair. I ended up scrubbing on my scalp and hair with my towel which got rid of the white.
It still feels funny where I sprayed it. It feels more gooey and perhaps damp than a baby powder application.
If you aren't going to touch it and just style your hair up and go, it'll be good. Once you get the white out your hair doesn't look oily. It would be especially great for up-dos.
