In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this travel-sized bottle of dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
This smells nice. I was taken back by how wet it is but I spray it on rub it in and blow dry and then it works for me. So not as easy as the more powdery dry shampoos.3
I have never found a dry shampoo that works for my brunette hair. When I used Serge Normants Dry Shampoo it sprayed on white and I had to comb out the color to avoid my hair from looking grey.
I will use it only if I am running late and do not have time to wash, dry and style my hair.
I was excited to get this since I have yet to fine a dry shampoo that will work for my hair which is always oily by the second day. When using the product they tell you to let it sit for 2 minutes prior to use. I did just this, the volume in my hair looked good, but the hair had no sheen to it, looked very dull and was sticky to the touch.3
I have been looking for a good dry shampoo for a while and was excited about getting this in my birchbox but it was a lot heavier than other brands and made my hair feel almost waxy. I got an extra day without washing since it did reduce the shine and it didn't make my hair look grey. When I used it exactly as the can directed, it did amazing things for my volume and gave my pony tail some extra oomph. Wouldn't buy full size.3
Pros: this smells great and there isn't a bunch of residue/chalkiness that you normally get with dry shampoo.
Cons: after about 1/2 a day (like other posts have mentioned) I think your hair is GREASIER than before. I found myself reapplying twice during one work day just to get through the rest of the day.
Wouldn't be a full size purchase from me. :(
I thought that this product works well. I guess. I had never used dry shampoo before. I wouldn't repurchase just because it's kind of expensive. However, I will continue to use.3
Personally I will stick with my Suave. This turned all of my hair grey- and it took quite a while to comb it out.
Worked fine, just a lot of work to use.
I used it while recovering from surgery that left me unable to wash my hair. I'm typically a wash every day kind of girl, so 3 days of no washing was trying for me!! It smells divine! It definitely helped in the volume area (no more bedhead!), but it did leave my hair feeling like I had used hairspray or mousse. I don't normally use styling products, so I didn't care for that feeling. It did freshen my hair up and absorbed the oil well. I would use it again when shampooing isn't an option.3
I am an avid fan of dry shampoo. I have very thick and curly hair so washing everyday is very time consuming. I work out alot so dry shampoo is a life savor. I like this dry shampoo, but I cannot say that I love it. It seems to have too much alcohol and made my scalp sticky. I used it on vacation and it was good for that, but for everyday I will stick with the brand I currently use.3
I have used this a couple times, and 'knowing' how to use it (hold about 10 inches from your roots, a little goes a long way) has bumped this from a two-star review to three. Pros: the smell is great, it zaps any grease & only a couple sprays are needed. Con: My fine hair looks and feels heavy if I keep it 'down'. But for a second or third day stylish, textured pony, it works great!3
