In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this travel-sized bottle of dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
Smells ok, a little strong, but left a white flaky mess in my (dyed) black hair...I ended up having to wash it to get the flakes out :(1
While this has a good smell and seemed to work for a bit, it is definitely not something i would rely on if my hair was really in need of a washing.3
When I sprayed it in my hair I thought I would never get my comb through it. The smell is terrible. Lingers forever!1
I'm an avid believer in not washing your hair everyday. In fact, I typically go three days between washes so I'm always looking for a great dry shampoo for those days when your hair needs just a little pick me up. I was really excited to try the Serge Normant brand after watching Katia's hair video so once I received my Birchbox, I had to try it the next day. While this dry shampoo smells amazing, much better than the many brands I've tried, it leaves a powdery residue in my dark hair. I'm going to continue to use it to see if I can make it better because I hate not fully using a product that is said to be wonderful! :)3
I got this in my March Birchbox and I love how it feels on my hair. It works really well.4
I love trying new dry shampoo products because I get really oily hair in a matter of a day or two. When I received Serge Normant Meta Revive dry Shampoo my hair was really greasy. So it was the perfect timing to use this product. I was pleasantly suprised by the smell of the product. It's very clean smelling and doesn't smell like other dry shampoos. Yet the volume aspect of this product left my hair feeling a bit sticky like a cheap hair spray would. Because of this I didn't want to leave my hair down. So in all, it made my hair look less dirty when I put it up but I am still on the search for a dry shampoo that actually does the job.2
I am a hairstylist and have tried many dry shampoos. I would only reccommend this to blondes with thick hair. anyone with dark hair i would not. it does not dissolve good and makes dark hair look greyish2
I have never used a dry shampoo before and still do not really understand the benefit. The smell is nice but I do not think I would buy this product because I do not see the need to have this.4
I love the smell but this is like a can of aerosol glue. I'm Asian so the white residue really shows. This gunked up my hairbrush more than normal because it's so sticky. While the texture afterwards is better than store brands though, so if you have blonde hair this may be good for you. I prefer powders applied at bedtime; more time to work and easier to brush out in the morning.2
I have this in my purse and used it during my cram-sessions on midterm week. Works better than any brand I've tried and volumizes like none other! It also smells great- not chemical-y like a hairspray. I would like to see dry shampoo in a pump bottle that would be more environmentally friendly though.5
