In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this travel-sized bottle of dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
This truly does last all day for volume. It was a bit sticky at the roots first but once I brushed it thru and added some heat from a blow dryer I fell in love with the product. Also love the hairspray.4
I have really thin hair, and in my case this adds a lot of volume to day-after-shampooing hair, which would otherwise be *super* flat.
It does make my hair a little tangly, but the tangles can be brushed out or will come out as soon as I shampoo again. It's so rare for a product to succeed in adding volume to my hair that I don't mind the minor tangles.
I tried this as a shampoo substitute after a few days at the gym and it worked well. I had never tried a dry shampoo before and was surprised at how well it worked.3
I've been looking for a dry shampoo to use on the weekend to give my hair a break from the daily wash & dry. I love the effectiveness of this dry shampoo but I will caution individuals with darker hair that this product will leave a white powdery residue in your hair. It would be great if this came in a darker version for those of us with brown hair.3
It cleans and it smells great, but your hair doesn't feel that way to the touch. After letting dry and combing out the excess you hair feels like a wool sweater and it tangles very easily3
I try dry shampoos always hoping I'll love them. So far I haven't found one I like, including this one. This left my hair feeling weighed down, greasy and a bit sticky. Two stars because it smells great. I loved catching a whiff of it all day.2
This is by far the worse dry shampoo I've tried. I used once following the directions and it left my a hair a sticky mess.1
This kept my flat ironed locks looking great for the second and third day. It smells really good too! :)4
I have blond hair and this made my hair white. Can't imagine what it would do for someone with dark hair. It also made my hair kind of sticky and unmanageable. Didn't like it at all.
I love checking out dry shampoos as I have superfine hair that can go oily and limp, or dry and frizzy depending on the weather.
This one is made my sandy blonde hair very tacky and clumpy, plus turned it grey! And the smell is off: cloying, but trying to be musky?
This is one sample I'm thinking of giving away, but I can't think of anyone I want to gift sticky, weird smelling hair.
