In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this travel-sized bottle of dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
Personally I will stick with my Suave. This turned all of my hair grey- and it took quite a while to comb it out.
Worked fine, just a lot of work to use.
I have thin, fine, oily hair. I have tried several dry shampoos, and like this one, none leave my hair fresh and clean looking as promised. I was able to get a half day of ponytail wear after using this, but my hair was clearly not in any shape to wear down. It felt oily still, and looked flat. I was really wanting to love it, but just did not. It may work on thicker hair, but on my fine, thin hair, it just seemed to weigh it down more.2
I have never used a dry shampoo and based on this product I never will again. It may not be a good fit because I have think hair. It may be better if you have thinner hair. It had a very strong hairspray smell that I did not care for either.2
I used it while recovering from surgery that left me unable to wash my hair. I'm typically a wash every day kind of girl, so 3 days of no washing was trying for me!! It smells divine! It definitely helped in the volume area (no more bedhead!), but it did leave my hair feeling like I had used hairspray or mousse. I don't normally use styling products, so I didn't care for that feeling. It did freshen my hair up and absorbed the oil well. I would use it again when shampooing isn't an option.3
I am an avid fan of dry shampoo. I have very thick and curly hair so washing everyday is very time consuming. I work out alot so dry shampoo is a life savor. I like this dry shampoo, but I cannot say that I love it. It seems to have too much alcohol and made my scalp sticky. I used it on vacation and it was good for that, but for everyday I will stick with the brand I currently use.3
I have used this a couple times, and 'knowing' how to use it (hold about 10 inches from your roots, a little goes a long way) has bumped this from a two-star review to three. Pros: the smell is great, it zaps any grease & only a couple sprays are needed. Con: My fine hair looks and feels heavy if I keep it 'down'. But for a second or third day stylish, textured pony, it works great!3
I used this product before work yesterday. My hair could have afforded a wash and blowdry, but I had an exercise class at lunchtime, so I figured it was the perfect opportunity to try out my new dry shampoo. This product definitely eliminated the grease and added plenty of needed volume to my hair. I'd definitely use again and recommend!4
This is the worst dry shampoo I have every tried. It made my hair super sticky and wet and never felt clean even after it dried. I do not recommend to ANYONE! Very disappointed.1
I have very fine hair and have never used dry shampoo before so this might just be a product of my hair type but I found that my hair was very stiff and impossible to get a brush through after I sprayed this on.
The smell is very nice but I think it's just not for my hair type.
The only thing that I liked was the smell. It did take care of the oil in my hair, but it also left my hair stiff, coarse, dry, and very hard to style. I will continue to use dry shampoo I already had2
