In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this travel-sized bottle of dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.
My hair is thick and heavy, but this shampoo added great body! I didn't need to curl/product/whatever at all. I don't know how much it did to clean my hair, but it did feel nicer. No ponytail for me!4
I guess I was expecting something a little less hairspray-ish. This is more hairspray than anything. It worked to soak up the oil, and it smelled nice(kinda like White Musk) but I did not like the hairspray aspect. My hair was stiff and unmanageable and it took forever to shampoo out. I won't be using this again.2
If you have smooth hair, this dry shampoo with give your hair great texture to stylize, as well as keeping your head of hair oil-free4
I've never tried dry shampoo before so I am going into this without any previous experience. All in all, it was effective at making my hair less greasy looking, but it made it stiff and unstylable like I had used too much hair spray. I also have thick hair though so that may be why. It did smell nice though.3
I honestly have not tried a product like this since "Psssst" was out in the 70s. I thought it did exactly what it was supposed to do - give you an extra day where you don't feel like a slob or like you have to tie your hair back to go out of the house. Does it give you a "fresh washed" look and feel to the hair? No. But I did not expect that. My only question about this product is why in the world anyone would want travel size? My only travel is either business-related, where I am totally bored in a hotel room at least part of the time, or vacation, where I don't have much else to do except relax. I would never pack this type of product. For home use, I definitely would want a full sized product, because I guess I have more bad hair days than most people, LOL!4
Before I even tried this product on my hair I heard a lot of bad reviews about it. Some people said don't use this product I could not even brush my hair after I put this in and some other comments too. Finally I used the dry shampoo and I liked it. I thought it gave my volume and worked really good. I only this I really didn't like about it was it left a weird texture on my hair. But other than that I this was a good dry shampoo.3
I am a self proclaimed dry shampoo addict. Weather it's a quick refresher for sunday brunch after a exuberent saturday night, or because I felt like sleeping in and didnt have time to wash my hair before work. This dry shampoo smells good, and leaves me volumous and feeling clean and looking fabulous. So glad this was in my box!4
I have thick but fine hair that doesn't tend to get oily easily so I can go up to 5 days without washing it (with very minimal use of dry shampoo). On days 4 and 5 I usually use Batiste dry shampoo because of the quality and the price. Serge Normant's dry shampoo is OK. It absorbed a reasonable amount of oil, but it tended to leave my hair feeling gunky and very dry...but still somewhat oily-looking. Nice to try something new and the smell was great otherwise.3
Good dry shampoo. Nothing crazy special about it. Leaves hair a little grayish on darker hair. Gets rid of the oils though. Would use again3
I love the smell of this product. However, my hair gets very oily between washes and I need a dry shampoo that will help with this. I felt this product did nothing as far as oil control.2
