Seeing as Lucky Tiger was founded by a barber, it should come as no surprise that the historic brand’s shaving cream is second to none. This “liquid cream”—a completely organic formula—goes from liquid lotion to rich lather on contact. The result is a cream that softens up even the toughest facial hair, providing supersmooth razor glide and preventing shaving irritation.
I'm still using this as my shaving cream. The bottle looks great, the stuff itself is more liquid that I would expect, but it actually works great. A little bit of this feels great on my skin and foams pretty well. Doesn't feel artificial or full of chemicals.5
I got this in one of my monthly boxes, and i freaking love it. I haven't found a shaving cream as nice as Lucky Tiger. It should be noted that I use the traditional shaving brush and safety razor. It only takes a little bit of the cream, and the brush works it into a large amount of lather. I probably wouldn't use it if I didn't use a brush though. Just put a little into your cup (or i just put a little in the palm of my hand), go from there. Also, it smells great while not being overpowering.5
To echo some of the other reviews I think this is a wonderful product but the lather is pretty thin when compared to other shave creams. I use it more for cleaning up my neck and sideburn areas than doing a full shave. The scent is good and I think the value is great.4
This stuff is really good. It is super soft and moisterizing, even my wife uses it. It doesn't leave a residue but leaves your skin super soft5
Goes on as a thin cream instead of a thick foam like a lot of other products.
Lubricates very well and cleans up after the shave.
I also like how my face feels clean after shaving.
This have a orange smell, and thats different for the typical menthol shaving smell but its great, i dont like the menthol. Is liquid cream not paste so you dont need to use water. I like it.4
I got this in my March box, and I'm still using the sample. Granted, it goes in my travel bag and only gets used a couple times a week to clean up the neck, but a little seems to go a long way. The closeness is nice, and the smell is good. My only complaint is that the lather feels thin, and takes quite a bit of work to get feeling adequate. Even though it feels thin, it still gives a really smooth and close shave.4
I really really liked this shave cream. There have been many shaving products in the boxes, but this is my favorite. First, it helps the blade glide very well, second, I find the light smell to be refreshing. Finally, it seems to moisturize well even after the shave.5
I really like this and could not believe it was american.
It is as good as sapone di barbe, my favorite from italy. great feel, refreshing texture and it gives a a good shave. The one drawback?
It is quite expensive.
Lucky Tiger gets the job done, but I won't be using it again.
I have a full, short beard, so I'm shaving my neck and the edges of my beard. I shave once a week, but even at that point, this is no more or less a smooth shave than other products.
But once done shaving, I get to the bad part of this cream - rinsing it off. You can't. Splashing your face with water just thins the liquid more and more. You'll need to wipe off with a towel, but you still may feel some residue. I've never used a liquid shaving cream before; I guess that's just part of the deal.
Thanks, but I'll pass.
