Infused with notes of grapefruit and black pepper, this unisex blend is so distinguished we think it deserves a Michelin star (or two). Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses fresh fruity and floral notes to transform a base of musky Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is totally addictive. Think of it as molecular perfumery.
This reminded me of my grandma which isn't a good thing. Very mature scent and not one that a 25 year old would want to sport. Very strong and kind of punches you in the face. Not for me!1
I am not a fan of masculine perfumes so this was not the scent for me. It is quite strong and I couldn't muster up the courage to actually wear it! Sorry, not for me!1
This is more "noxious fumes" and less cologne. Had a headache as soon as I put it on. Way too masculine and musky. I thought I could trust Birchbox with the scents I like because last month's "Something Blue" was so amazing, but I think now I'll be unchecking the perfume box on my beauty profile. Sad!1
It is too outdoorsy. It literally smells like it was made from a sweaty man. I hated this product. And kind of aggravated that it was even an option in a box.1
Just my own personal opinion. I found this to be to musty for myself.1
At first i kinda liked it. However, after awhile it started to bother me. My girlfriend and others kept asking me if I was wearing bug spray. Not for me.1
The scent is pleasant enough...but it's whoa strong! I used the smallest little dab and I smelled like a shady old man in a speedo. Could be great if you could use less then a drop.1
Agreed with others this smells far two old man spicy for my taste1
I find most cologne descriptors are BS. The person who wrote the ones for this product really should see an ENT. The ONLY note I picked up in this sample was patchouli; strong, pungent, oily, biting, acerbic, bitter patchouli. Honestly, Glade makes a better air freshener.1
Pleasant enoygh scent, but I'm a traditional "Old Man" type guy. I'm 29 and my go to scent is Aramis. This does however last the entire day where as so many colognes don't. Would probably be a nice summer smell.1
